Money spent: 700E fun money/£460 flights + hotel.

Biggest regret: Not doing Bora Bora

Best night: Cream @ Amnesia

Worst night: No surprises here, Es Paradise

Best bar: None in particual

Best place to eat: None in particular but Savannahs was a well needed tasty meal at the end of the holiday.

Money spent: 650 euros

Biggest regret: Not getting a hotel that had air con :lol:

Going back?: F**k yeah

Top tip: Instead of drinking mixers, get on the shots before the clubs esp as theyre cheaper :lol:

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Calo d'es Moro / Gran Sol

Club nights visited: Revolution @ Space, a bit of Hush and a bunch of smaller venues.

Best night: both in their own ways :p

Worst night: n/a

Best bar: Freddie's @ Ibiza Rocks House on Wednesday hands down. Thanks a bunch for the the invite, dude ! ;)8)

KM5 with Paul Lomax (Deepflight) and Welcome to the Beach @ Pura Vida (Playa Niu Blau) pretty cool too.

Best place to eat: El Bigote @ Cala Mastella - still got the magic .. go and put your name down for cancellations in peak season - worked for me, even if they did only call me on my UK mobile to confirm 45mins before, as I was arriving at Sa Trinxa in Salinas ! :eek:


Great sushi @ Wok n Roll in Sta Gertrudis too .. DJ Sergio playing to boot (what a treat) - thx for the tip on that, McRackin.

Money spent: about £650 all-in

Biggest regret: Not making the effort to check out Sankeys on Wednesday - just too late and couldn't be arsed.

Going back?: What do you reckon ?

Top tips: From this trip ? Put on some sturdy trainers and set your spirit free exploring Sa Pedrera and the Torre. It's always awesome.

Ignore the sign, hike out of sight and get naked on Sa Ferradura.

Indulge your senses at Atzaró.

No matter how rough you feel, get out there and soak in as much of this wonderful place as you can in the time you have.

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Finca, near Port des Torrent / Cala Tarida

Club nights visited: We Love (Space), Pornographic Label Night (Eden), Tonight (Amnesia), Circo Loco (DC10)

Best night: Hard to choose, but if I have to: Circo Loco (Probably because I've missed this all the previous years)

Worst night: Pornographic at Eden (Great Line-up: Marco Bailey, Christian Varela, The Advent, Anton Pieëte, but those sex acts were overruled everything, also seems that most people come for these acts and not for the music / to party.. could have been a great night...)

Best bar: Lounge / chill bar at Cala Tarida (not sure if it has a name :)), I'm not the type of guy that visits one of those packed 'pre' bars (mostly because we've had our private space to do some drinks before clubbing)

Best place to eat: Had a lot of proper food, so again: too hard to choose, the worst food was from one of those restaurants in San Antonio

Money spent: 1600 (excl. finca, car + flight)

Biggest regret: Missing Cocoon at Amnesia due to some planning issues

Going back?: Of course!

Top tip: Rent a car, explore the island. It's more beautiful outside San Antonio / Playa d'en Bossa ;)
 
Dates you were there: 29 May to 4 June 2011, with my OH, our 3 year old son, my friend and her 2 year old son.

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Santa Eulalia in a gorgeous private apartment with a pool. Very 70s porn star with lots of mirrors, art deco style furniture, a king-size water bed downstairs, a double bed with fluorescent lights underneath, a separate bedroom for the kids, 3 terraces .... amazing J

Club nights visited: No club nights unfortunately, but lots of bar action, including Bora Bora which our son loved, the sunset strip in San An, and family friendly bars in Santa Eulalia. We drove around our old hang outs reminiscing about our Ibiza clubbing holidays in 2002, 2003 and 2004 J

Best night: every night in Ibiza is great!

Worst night: none

Best bar: Guarana bar in Santa Eulalia for mojitos, and we all loved Mambo for the sunset. It was quite emotional taking our kids to Ibiza for the first time to experience the sunset – something we used to talk about doing back in the day. They loved it, clapped the sun as it set, then took to the decking to show us parents how to boogie!

Best place to eat: David's in San Antonio was as good as we'd remembered, and we all tucked into gorgeous pizzas and salads. The Gallery in Santa Eulalia also serves lovely food and has a good early bird offer if you are dining with kids.

Money spent: About £1000, which wasn't too bad for the 3 of us, but obviously didn't include any club entry and excessive drinking!

Biggest regret: Not staying longer.

Going back? Yes, we re-booked for the end of August within a week of being back J

Top tip: Hire a car and get out and about to experience the beautiful beaches and hidden coves. And definitely take your kids – they will fall in love with the island!! Our son cannot wait to go back and told me he wants to go back to Ibiza every year – that's my boy!

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Hostal Rosalia, San Antonio (cheap, clean, reasonably frendly staff and majority of guests surprisingly well behaved - downside was room was right next door to the lift / lift shaft which was EXTREMELY loud)

Club nights visited: Subliminal @ Pacha, Kinky Malinki @ Sankeys (freebie), Carnival / We Love Brazil @ Es Paradis (freebie)

Best night: Subliminal @ Pacha (but only because I met up with friends)

Worst night: The Sunday (for deciding not to go to see 2ManyDJs @ We Love Sundays)

Best bar: Grill Bar Llumbi @ Es Cubbells, Cat & Parrot in the West End (both for very funny memories), Raco Verd @ San Jose

Best place to eat: Aura (for quality and hippness), Es Boldado (for the view), Supper Club (ex-Jamels, San Antonio) for value for money (10e menu del dia was perfectly acceptable and allowed for some excellent West End people watching)

Money spent: Flights £80, hostal £85, hire car & fuel (four days) £140, spends £550 = £855

Biggest regret: Not booking a hotel room for the first night (arrived at 4.30am and had to wait until 11am to get into room thus 29 hrs without sleep = very tired all day on Sunday and not going to Space)

Going back?: Yep, probably mid September. If not then late June 2012 for week in villa with family seauging into 4 days in San Antonio for a mates stag do (:eek:)

Top tips: Check your hire car very carefully for lumps, bumps and petrol before driving it off, if in San Antonio walk to Cala Gracio / Gracionetta rather than the hideous puke beach or Calo des Moro. Remember: in Ibiza (and lots of other places I suppose) you do't always get what you pay for - Expensive 'fusion' food in fancy dan surroundings doesn't necessarily mean good. Keep an eye out for wristbands - there seem to be alot about at the moment and if your not overly fussy about where you go, the options are plentiful (including Sankeys most nights and Privelege and Space on a good few)

Best night: Come Together - Boyz Noise and Erol Alkan helped this to be one of the best nights I have had in 11 trips to Ibiza! Also Subliminal - we almost didn't go, as we have been to Pacha so many times before. We changed our minds at the last minute though, and it was as amazing as always. Great crowd at both these nights.

Worst night: We Love - we had been looking forward to 2 Many DJs all week, but their set was a let down and we ended up leaving at 5am!

Best bar: Bogeda, just at the bottom of the ramp into Dalt Vila. Great cocktails and people watching.

Best place to eat: KM5 for the atmosphere, and Thai'd Up for the food.

Money spent: My boyfriend and I together spent around 1800 euros over the week, plus £800 on flights and accomodation

Biggest regret: That we didn't book 2 weeks!

Going back?: Yes, next year

Top tip: If you eat at KM5, book a table in the garden for after your meal. The service and atmosphere will make you feel like a superstar!

Club nights visited: Be @ Space, Cream @ Amnesia (x2), Fiesta Del Agua @ Es Paradis, Club Life @ Privilege, Godskitchen @ Privilege, Beach Party @ Ushaia, Full on Ferry @ Sankeys

Best night: Cream @ Amnesia on the 21st, or Ferry @ Sankeys on the 26th. Both were fantastic nights

Worst night: Tuesday 19th - Due to being ill.

Best bar: The Boozer, as they did Vodka Ice Shots

Best place to eat: Ciao Ciao

Money spent: £850

Biggest regret: Going to the water party the first Friday I was out there, should of gone second. Could of done more of the nights I'd wanted to.

Going back?: Yes, Sept 2012

Top tip: Use Solo Records to buy tickets in San Antonio, and take a decent pair of ear plugs for both the clubs, and sleeping if your hotel is loud

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Central Park Apartments, San Antonio.
Amazing location, small but clean & nice enough rooms, quite noisy but what would you expect, pool on the roof with bar with great cheap drinks and food. Perfect except no air con, which is the only reason I won't be back!

Club nights visited: Tinie @ Ibiza Rocks, Ibiza Rocks after show @ Es Paradis, Cream @ Amnesia, We Love @ Space, Tiesto @ Privilege

Best night: Tiesto @ Privilege. The venue is just something else!

Worst night: We Love @ Space... line up wasn't good at all. Not as good as Amnesia or Priv!

Best bar: Didn't really hit any bars (west end was not appealing to us at all). Chilling at the beach or sunset cafes is better. Actually we sat outside Mambo's on the Monday for SHM's pre show...that was pretty good!

Best place to eat: Mint along the sunset strip. Main, dessert & jug of sangria between 3 for 30 euro each. Plus they also bring you out a glass of champagne with your bill...nice touch! Right beside Mambo's, so we got a table outside to watch the sunset....magic!
Also ate at Savannah's....lovely as well and not too dear.
I'd say anywhere on the sunset strip is pretty good just because of the view and atmosphere.

Money spent: Flights & Accom: £410. Spending money: 700 euro for 11 nights for everything. That was eating out most days twice a day. Just don't buy drinks in the clubs and you can do it comfortably on a budget!

Biggest regret: Not getting drunker....found it hard to drink out there for some reason!

Going back?: YES! Definately next year but would love to go back for the closing parties in Sept.

Top tips: Go to Privilege...it's unreal. Don't buy drinks in the clubs...WASTE of money, not worth it. Do stuff in the day...I went parasailing for 45 euro and it was amazing. Also the parasailing company we went with gets you on the guestlist to any night at Space so we went to We Love which would have cost 60 euro alone. Wear sunscreen.

Worst night: Missing the sunset at Café del Mar as there was an accident in Ibiza town where we went for dinner before.

Best bar: Café del Mar

Best place to eat: Lots of great places, just have a wonder!

Money spent: Accom £164, Flights, £70, Pukka up day boat + Space £57, Pacha £39, £250 spending money, total = £580

Biggest regret: Not spending longer, always next year.

Going back?: Hell yes!!!

Top tip: Go self-catered, everything is so cheap in the supermarkets, and don't rent a car, taxis are well priced.

Dates you were there: 10th-17th August

Where you stayed (resort/hotel): Invisa Es Pla all inclusive, great staff, great rooms, great people, good bar, **** food.

Club nights visited: Amnesia x2 Tonight and Cream, Space Be, Pacha Pete Tong, Eden Judgement sundays, Privilege Tiesto, Ibiza rocks example, Pukka up boat party.

Best night: Judgement sundays

Worst night: Pacha Pete Tong, overpriced, all posers inside the clubs, unfriendly.

Best bar: Too many to name

Best place to eat: Never explored enough (will do next year)

Money spent: 640 hotel all inclusive, 250 club ticks, 700 spending money

Biggest regret: Going all inclusive and going to pacha

Going back?: Defo going back, need to do Circo Loco dc 10, pukka up boat party again, maybe go to zoo project this time and i fancy visiting the new Sankeys club if Ferry Corsten is still resident also wanna do the water party at es paradis

Top tip: Ibiza is wht you make of it !

Club nights visited: Cream, Radio one 'come together', Judgement Sundays, Tiesto @ privilege, Tonight @ Amnesia.

Best night: Cream or judgements sundays

Worst night: Tiesto, not because it wasnt good (this was my second visit to this night, and enjoyed it in 2010) but because i was just knackered and couldnt get into it.

Best bar: Itica, great music, live sax and drums. great vibe.

Best place to eat: only ate at donnegans for breakfast each day in san antonio bay. but friendly staff, good service, cheap and great food.

Money spent: £500 for flights and hotel (all inclusive hotel) £200 for club tickets and 1000 euros.

Biggest regret: not staying longer

Going back?: of course, booking to go for 10 days next year

Top tip: take more money, have one or two nights out then have a night off to be able to fully enjoy what ibiza has to offer in the day. eat plenty of nutritious foods to keep the energy levels up and get some sleep when you can!

Top tip: Rent yourself a villa it's cheaper than staying in a hotel und has much more style. The drawback is you need a driver or some cash for the cabs.

Biggest Regret: Not seeing more of the islands hidden gems/ getting caught up in island virginitus..

Going back: for sure...don't plan on missing another season...i cried when i left..

Top tip: rent a car or scooter...your own transportation is crucial sometimes for the last minute dj gigs that always seem to arise..

Best night: This is a hard question...but I'll have to answer Fiesta del Agua. That last hour in the waist-deep water was really a spiritual experience!

Worst night: The night after DC10, spending the night in a dirt-cheap one-star hotel in Ibiza Town, dangerously ill, when I was supposed to be on a plane home.

Best bar: I didn't go to many bars, except for the Café del Mar, and various British pubs along the Carrer des Caló, the street outside my hotel. I really liked Mar i Pins, but I'm not sure I'd call it the best.

Best place to eat: the best restaurant I was at was Mint, an outdoor restaurant right by Café Mambo. I also loved Relish, on the aforementioned Carrer des Caló right next to Ibiza Club Style.

Money spent: probably a lot more than most of you! The plane tickets alone were something like $1700, and that equals what, 1000 Euros? If I had bought them a little earlier I'd have paid less. A lot more on top of that for the hotel, club tix, drinks...

Biggest regret: Not planning the trip better, not staying for longer, not seeing much besides the 7 big clubs, Café del Mar, and the West End, not going to the 7 big clubs more than once, missing out on the Espuma Party, We Love Space, Pornographic, SupermartXe, and a few other parties, not going to Sankeys or Ushuaia or Bora Bora or the Pukka Up Boat Party or any of the music bars, not spending any time on the beaches...but despite all the regrets I had a blast and loved every bit of it!

Going back?: Abso-f*ckin-lutely! I'm going right back there next summer and I'm bringing as many people with me as I can!

Top tip: Watch where you park! I rented a car there, and I didn't even have it for 24 hours yet when I got a 100-Euro parking ticket! Before you park that car make sure there's not a no-parking sign around!

Also, if you're going to be drinking alcoholic drinks 7 nights in a row, make sure you drink enough water during the days. By the end, dehydration had caught up with me.

(one other thing, if you were at DC10 on the night of the 3rd, and you spent a lot of time outside, can you PM me? There's a few things I'm wondering about that night.)

Eden clubland - Club Ushiaia - eden had the classics from the 90's and 00's, not like your average ibiza club and some people said its more down market - but i thought it was amazing - the swedish house mafia were amazing aswell but alot of it was just music, i like a few words thrown in - face it when a cracker comes on everyone goes mad. i cant split the two nights, the experience of ushaia has to seen to be believed

Club nights visited: Subliminal at Pacha, Garlands at Eden, Zoo Project, Cadenza at Pacha, Circo Loco at DC10, Cocoon at Amnesia, Tonight at Amnesia, Channel Zoo, Underground and Never Say Never at Ushuaia.

Best night: Toss up between Cadenza and Never Say Never

Worst night: Channel Zoo

Best bar: Plastik, San Antonio

Best place to eat: Pacha Restaurant

Money spent: A lot

Biggest regret: Getting sunburnt and missing Cassy and Valentino Kanzyani at Underground on my second night

Going back?: Yes

Top tip: Avoid going mental on your first night and watch out for the midday sun!

Best place to eat: pepes in siesta

Biggest regret: leaving

Top tip: the fish recognise a spear gun so you have to sneak up on them

Best night: Can't decide.

Worst night: Wednesday, being too tired to go to La Troya then regretting it.

Best bar: Bora Bora

Money spent: Accommodation £140, Flights £100, Club Tix £35, Drinks/Taxis/Food £180

Biggest regret: Not going to La Troya, and not going for longer.

Going back?: Next Summer!

Top tip: Food and alcohol is cheap in the supermarkets, and hang around the beach for free entry wristbands.
