"...
• Reuben Brothers has acquired 1.5 million square metres of prime land in south western Ibiza, spanning 6.3 kilometres of coastline.

The acquisition comprises 3 plots;

which potentially offers the best construction opportunity on the island;

update on ibiza shore...

they plan to start filming on 5th august, but there is a lot of local opposition against it. enough so apparently to even (and luckily) convince some people to break contracts that already had been made. one of those places that just today have decided they don't want to permit filming is good old bora bora.

the counsil also wants to do lots of controls as the film company doesn't have permission to film in public places.

I really hope this is not happening, but I fear that for money, some places will say yes in the end.

sadly not, else I'd pay them a little visit

Ibiza Spotlight should be able to help with the boycott of anyone who works with Ibiza Shore maybe?

"We will put all the tools at the level of inspection and competence level for this program may not be recorded." So bluntly president of the Consell d'Eivissa, Vicent Torres, at the end of the regular plenary session in which a joint statement by all political parties against the emission of Ibiza Shore program was approved yesterday showed, whose recording is scheduled to start next week.
...
"We will control very well the activity of this producer in Ibiza and not by the Consell find any support logistically normally have programs of interest to us in terms of image," said Torres, who was willing to act "because society has clearly said 'no' to such programs. "

Torres said that this week had talked with officials of the program that issued the MTV "and we have made see the rejection of Ibiza society."

The Consell d'Eivissa also urges the other institutions, the business sector and citizens to join this rejection and do not cooperate in the production of this type of television.
