Self Catering or All Inclusive...

lol at woodruffe

I was just about to ask her the same question xx I do definately reccomend the ibizamar apartments, nice and loads of room...5 min walk to a choice of lively fun bars..bucaneero,donnegans and of course the pink panther.. choice of restaurants all offering 3 course menus for 10 euros..drinks prices in bars from pint of lager from 2 euros, pint of cocktail from 4 euros..other direction 2 min walk gets you to the hawai hotel and promenade into the centre..the price of the apartments and flights depends on what time of year you want to travel..:D

Beware Tramuntana in the middle of the season! Stayed there during a heatwave in July 2008 and it was horrendous. The Casa Maria across the road is my bolthole of choice.

Would recommend Casa Maria to anyone.

Take it it gets warm? Ace... can't be any worse that Poinete or Piscis...

 how good is that, but we set the date of the 9th July and booked it all off at work, im flexible at work and can change but the girls cant really, so best stick with the 9th

Have a look on low cost holidays too, I would never do Ibiza AI but that is my opinion, I tend to stay in PDB now and just get my booze from the shop and if there is enough of you it tends to work out really cheap too, part of my holiday is venturing out to eat at different places, either way whatever you choose you will all have an amazing time!!:):):):)

Exactly my thought :D

I think thats decided then, not AL, i wana go diff places and be away from the hotel as much as poss if i can, so pointless doing AL...

Blates raid a shop for Booze :D ooo canny wait :D

Try B&B OR HB

AI is ok but the drinks are inferior compared with the cafe bars and restaurants in resort and are served in small plastic glasses
More and more cafe bars and restaurants are closing because of the Hotels AI , the cafe bars and restaurants were there before AI was introduced and that's what made Ibiza what it is today ( Brill ) so have a think ,Have you thought of B&B or HB , that's ok if only 1 or 2 are going but if more go S/C is the best way to go

When i went last year there was 4 us that went (all girls) and we bought a bottle of smirnoff vodka but it was MASSIVE I think about 40 euros and we didnt need any other booze all week, never even finished it hehe i have pics on fb and im having to hold it with both arms, bargain for 10 euros each :)

I can imagine what drinks will be consumed on this holiday 8O:lol: and thats only during the day hahaha

Defo all about pre drinking, im guessing i wont even be drinking in the clubs, maybe a water to keep oneself alive and slightly hydrated

Half board is pointless and b and b was my first thought, but knowing me i could be on the wrong side of the island between the times breakfast is served so would be wasted somewhat

Im a bit of a nightmare on holiday i literally could be anywhere at any time

july

had a quick look, ibiza mar works out about 160 pound per person for 7 nights on 9th july..but the flights are coming up around the 140 pound mark..so around 300 per person..

Aaaah yes 9 weeks today i shall be on Bora Bora with some sort of Alcoholic beverage in hand, yeah it's all about the pre club drinking especially when they are atleast 15 euros per drink EEEEK :)

Id happily book and go on my own but i couldnt bare to leave the gf behind, shed k*ll me lol

The nightmare that is being in charge of organising and booking the Ibiza trip for mates haha.

I booked ours last year for 12 guys, we just looked for the cheapest combination of flights we could find for a week then got accommodation to match those dates.
Ended up staying at the Azuline Galfi which is a 5min walk down the road from Bar M / Linekers heading away from the west end.
You can either get B&B or self catering.
A nice little hotel which was very quite most of the time, a pool and amazing air con which is included. Think it cost us just short of £300 for flights and hotel for a week in July.

Just book the flights for the both of you, she's hardly going to complain is she has any sense. That way you are booked and ready to go.
