I love this bar..... Worth the walk (well not for us as we were staying above it 2 floors up lol - excellent food - great crew that go there , mostly Spanish when I have been in - a quality chill out bar with a cracking sunset view and no one claps with the sun sets - gets my vote EVERY time...

I love Golden Buddah too, favorite bar in San An. What are the apartments above Golden Buddah called? Are they part of the Blau Park?

What's wrong with clapping?

I don't see anything wrong with clapping. For me it emphasises it as a shared experience, almost giving it a ceremonial feel, linking back to ancient times when sunsets were associated with ritual.

Yes I know, I'm an old hippy.

And incidentally, I point at planes all the time...

a 65db limit could be fine, the problem similar to that of the how long is a piece of string? is, where is the noise cop going to measure the level from, inside, outside, outiside with the door shut and 40 metres away from the source or whatever???

we are having problems with noise on the costa blanca right now, and it seems the bars the police and the local council dont have a clue what the criteria to allow for loud music are.

i hope ibiza avoids the chaos we have had to suffer.

clapping = cheesy, but I don't have an issue with it (i have more issue with noisy booze cruises pulling up in front of clappers ruining it for everyone)

pointing at planes = completely normal behaviour when one screams overhead
