Restaurant reviews

Still trying to find a good spot for a beach side long boozy lunch next Thursday...we are staying in Cala Llonga so ideally that side of the island. Looking at Es Fumeral, Sonrojo or La Mar de Santa....any opinions on those or any suggestions for somewhere I've missed?? These are potentially a bit £££ and might not be the real deal??

Aiyanna is nice , food is good , amazing sea view , not cheap but not crazy expensive either
 
Walked all the way from the bay to cala gracio earlier, on way back stopped at Mundos for pre cocoon food. Knew about this place as mates have been and rave about it and they were right. Whole choice of different street foods from flatbreads to burgers to tacos etc etc . The other half even got a yorkshire pudding wrap 🤣

Again very reasonably priced and would defs return/recommend

We went back there tonight just because its a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Pissed/tired but we went for pasta this time and it was still stunning! Great little restaurant
 
Thank you @Amigo for the balneario/cala carbo tipp. Had a fantastic Dorada in salt crust! So nice sitting there. After that climbed one of the cliffs there, where I had the sunset on a big plateau all for myself, es vedra to the left, the sun sinking into the ocean to the right. I'll take that solitude over the cala d'hordes anytime :)

De nada! Delighted to hear that, it sounds like the perfect evening.
 
On a trip to Santa Gertrudis I craved a burger, so I tried Zeno, which also has pizza. Very tasty Mexican burger with a pineapple, but fear not, their other burgers don't have pineapples. I also liked the urban, hipster deco.
The other day I returned to Mumak in Playa d'en Bossa, which I can't recommend enough. Great sitting there tucked away from the madness that is d'en Bossa, with views towards Dalt Villa, right next to the beach. Amazing asian food, at surprisingly reasonable prices, 18.50 for a delicious Nasi Goreng or a Pad Thai, both with prawns. Smoothies for 9.50

Also you can never go wrong with a Dorada a la Plancha at Sa Trinxa. Mine today was particularly tasty! :)

Mumak is good, and cheap. Large portions.
