It's not hard to make some quick significant improvements, when the Tories had done such a bad job for the country (whilst lining their own pockets).

Stopping the completely unworkable Rwanda plan saves however many millions were going to be continued to be thrown at it, for example.

Putting experts in a particular field into that particular department is a another easy win. It's so obvious isn't it? But the Tories didn't like experts getting in the way of them forming policy for their own ends.

KS has been handed this job on a plate, hopefully he can follow through with his pledges now.

I seem to remember the Tories blasting through with a majority 4 years ago. That turned out well.
