I find the looky looky guys fine in playa del bossa but the drug dealers and hookers in pdb are a lot more aggressive in terms of approaching people

It seems the strip club has been re-branded, when I passed last week it was called something along the lines of Baby Girl Strip Club ...
omg. what a pervy name.

in june 2016 it was open and still called "secret garden".
so maybe "under new management" ...

And i'm unsure if it's related but there was someone dressed in a Mickey Mouse costume standing at the bottom of the restaurants stairs both times I passed!

now the end of the world has finally come ...
 ....

Privilege and Es Paradis complain against the mayors of Sant Josep and Sant Antoni
They accuse the mayors of "intentional dereliction" in controlling noise from other entertainment

The clubs Privilege and Es Paradis have filed a complaint in court guard against the mayors of Sant Antoni, Josep Tur, and Sant Josep, Josep Marí Ribas, accusing them of "allow and even encourage their attitude hatching and maintenance of a new leisure (hotels disco, beach-clubs ...) attractive to a particular target audience because you can enjoy the loud music at all hours of the day and in open spaces and even domain public".

The lawsuit considers that this action involves an "intentional dereliction of promoting the prosecution of crimes that have news," defined in article 408 of the Penal Code.

Representatives of Privilege and Es Paradis and understand that "a mayor must know what is happening in their municipality when it is public knowledge and, to make matters worse, you hear almost all the municipal territory".
As indicated in the complaint, which provides sonometric and a private detective focused solely on Ushuaïa of Platja d'en Bossa reports, "the mayors against the action have been required to enforce the law is addressed, including their own ordinances municipal, on noise pollution. "

The complaint refers only to four specific premises, Ushuaïa and the Blue Marlin, Sant Josep, and Ibiza Rocks and Ocean Beach, Sant Antoni
, and calls for practice in all legal recognition.

Privilege and Es Paradis announce that provide an economic study of "losses" that both have suffered by the alleged tolerance of the defendants mayors respect to other establishments

Takes me back to the same spot and same time in 98, a few of us lined up naked by the policia after catching us skinny dipping
They made fun of our manhood and told us to f*** off sharpish - fair dos! :):)
Id do anything to go back to that time!

Lol. That's where I always used to pull over for a swim in the morning on my way back from clubbing until pretty recently. It's not the best spot for skinny dipping admittedly, mate of mine did it a few years ago and never mind the policia got right roasted by the assembled kids - was his first time on the island and hadn't quite worked out that what went on when I took him to Salinas the day before wasn't quite as common in San Antoni in broad daylight these days .

This lot always used to wake me up early in the morning as its just outside of the Hotel Abrat where I stay on most of my visits. They are generally the hangovers from coming back from the clubs so have been out all night rather than starting early but dont half cause a nuisance, as its so regular im surprised the local police dont move them on!

I've stayed at Abrat countless times and never been affected by noise from Calo d'es Moro beach, it's a fair way away. The maids outside have more of an impact in the morning ! Not aware of anything even staying at Blau Parc last trip with the balcony door wide open and virtually overlooking it. Benefits of being a sound sleeper when it does finally happen I guess !

Sleep in a hotel in Sant Antoni is 111 € cheaper than in one of Ibiza

The average rate of the hotels in Vila during July amounted to 201 euros,
while in Sant Antoni was 90 euros
The town of Ibiza is the most expensive and the most revenue generated per room throughout the Region ...

Yeah it cost me about 120-150 Euros a night for a decent single-occupancy room in Calo d'es Moro this year. Hotels just get more & more expensive all over the island every time you go and there's no way I'd pay 200+ Euros to stay in some claustrophobic Ibiza Town accommodation with nowhere to park my car. Just hope San An doesn't catch up with the rest of the island on hotel prices too fast - there's nowhere else reasonably priced left to go in Season apart from run-down dives in out-of-the-way places like Cala Vadella. Those spots are not great bases to operate from imo if you don't want to spend most of your time there.

Definately a case of something not being paid for or someone taking the piss. These guys have a job to do and don't want/need negative pubilicity. Not to be messed with, but any guys I have met have been decent.

Ive never felt threatened by them but was always cautious just incase with things in my pockets etc but i agree with dirk they could do without the publicity wouldnt suprise me if somethings gone on further than the truth.

I went in RIO during my stay great place they have really done it up, best toilets ive ever been in, really thoughtout decor but the thing was the prices. People aint going to pay €12 for a cocktail when you can get cheaper offers up the west end. And with San Ans OiOi lets have it crowd they wouldnt be seen dead in a place like RIO.

San An is what it is, I doubt it will ever get cleaned up. The Bay is more relaxed in terms of bars and slightly less "in your face" I tend to find.
