Does anyone know when the west end first started and what we're the first bars to open and have any of them survived to this day? Always wondered the history of the west end but could never find any information online anywhere?
Heard it was the 70s it was called the west end based on the west end of London haha
"I've some fantastic memories there in my early 20's". You say you're 28.....long history!
Pedro who works at puerto cala vadella worked in joe spoons in the 70s and is still called "Paddy" today. It was nickname given to him for working in an Irish bar..
I bet it was VERY different back then. When it was built do you think there vision was, in 40 years time it would play commercial chart tunes to teenager's and have high quality chicken takeaways? I can't slate it to much though tbh. Tropi trance bar is my favourite place on earth and I've some fantastic memories there in my early 20's. Do you know of anywhere I can read about the West end in the old days?
Clampdown happening already? Seen a post that Candy Apple won't open this season due to restrictions meaning no music, no tv, no entertainment and possibly even alcohol sale restrictions.
