Yep, another reason is the garden as I think 2013 wasn't used for DJs when I went late June.

Have to play it by ear I think !
 
Went to Paradise for the first time two weeks ago and was amazed how busy it became, around 2am.

Definitely a very British crowd and also a very 'merry' crowd. By 5am, most people in the garden looked a tad the worse for wear!

Good music though from Optimo and Jackmaster, plus we even spoke with Manumission's Mike & Claire backstage.
 
Hyte's "secret guest" revealed as... Maceo Plex!!!

He's their resident FFS! Me thinks they originally had somebody else in mind and decided it would be not economically viable!!
 
hows the attendance there going?

monday cocoon then enter thursday then again carola amnesia on friday..

three nights for amnesia in 5 nights is too much.

the fact they've added dice already twice to the line up when he wasn't supposed to play and now maceo plex for this week speaks volume about how well (or not) the night's running...

don't get me wrong - the terrace is busy enough to create a good atmosphere, as I said it's mostly perfectly busy until the podiums in the middle of the terrace. but overall they're definitely not making the numbers they aimed for.
 
I'm not just saying this now, you will probably find a post of me from before the season to confirm this: I am still wondering why so many seemed to be worried about cocoon or had already counted out cocoon before the season just by the appearance of hyte. why did so many think it would be an instant hit, taking everybody away from cocoon? it's never easy for a new night, even if you're hyte.

I said this all season long (and before that as well).
 
Still can't make my mind up if DC10 twice in a 5/6 night trip is too much. Not much else on the Wednesday night takes my fancy, except maybe La Familia and 'an early night', but the line up for Paradise when I am there takes my fancy, and seems like a good night.

But CircoLoco for me is a must, and if the line up contains Squillace, Tanzmann, Kerri Chandler no way I am staying away. Decisions decisions!
 
So Dice & Maceo went B2B on Wednesday. Yet another horrible B2B on paper. Curious to know how it actually panned out?
 
Stivi you must have an idea of who the SPECIAL GUEST TBA is @ Paradise on 9th September? Do you know when it will be announced?

nope I honestly don't know.

as for hyte this week - well if you can't fill the terrace to a decent level with dice and plex then I don't know! that was expected to be busy. I haven't been there so can't comment, but the main room apparently wasn't very busy. one of our team went and she did enjoy that b2b on the terrace.
 
Saw that Maceo went B2B with Darius Syrossian at a villa afterparty too. Mildly more acceptable at an afterparty I think.
 
Ahhhh these B2Bs! As I was saying to Stivi last night at Enter.... The mixing between tINI and bella at 10PM last night would have maybe been forgivable if it was at 10AM. Though they did get better....
 
What was paradise like tonight? I went to hyte after la familia and there was maybe 30 people in the main room and even the terrace didn't seem that busy, people right back up to the bar at the back but plenty of space. Seemed busier for pan-pot then maceo I thought
 
Any update on these two nights? Really want to see Maceo Plex and determined my gf sees Amnesia on her first visit to the island but not if the club is half full...so torn between this and MusicOn.
