Hi Mate S&S Cinema - is the most basic of basic venues you will ever see - brick walls and rough concrete floor - tiny bar with random beers  good laugh - its got a bar called The Tanners directly in front of it which is a basic "old mans pub" but good craic

Shindig's next event is Aug 26th with Matthias Tanzmann & Davide Squillace and then its the AWESOME Sneak and Heidi on 6th October - nothing for Sept I am afraid....

Oh god  please tell me you did not go to a club called PREACH

No, went into Rochester - Casino Rooms, or seemingly now Room, on Friday, then another club on the Saturday. Can't remember what it's called but it's on the road between Rochester and Gillingham and was actually quite good for a town club.

 Casino Rooms and Krystals  :spank:

I have a stag weekend in Manchester at the beginning of October. We're going to a rugby game during the day on Saturday, but have nothing planned apart from that.

I know Warehouse Project is on but there's no way I'll be able to make that happen.:(

That bad, huh?

Is there anything better round that way?

If you'd still lived in that area, you could have shown us where to go. I blame you. ;)

Jesus they are seriously the worst clubs in the south east....no wait, thats being kind, in the south

You should of headed to Maidstone, alot more nicer bars and 'clubs' and the breed of human is ALOT better 8)

Been there before. Only really proper club in the area is The Loft. The rest are just variations on your typical town club.

Hahahahahahahaha! Just seen this convo! Nice one Vic! I guess u just got unlucky with the clubs you went too Johnny. With the exception of the aforementioned Preach, you definitely visited the worst 2!

Visiting Newcastle 21st - 24th Feb, hence the thread revival.

DontStayIn & Resident Advisor don't have much to offer in terms of advice, and the places mentioned earlier in the thread seem to have slim pickings for events. Maybe they just haven't released info on them yet.

Going to see family, but cousins not really into dance & electronic music, so me & bro will be pretty much fending for ourselves. All tips made taken on board, but if anybody has anything fresh to suggest I'm all ears!

I'm sure he would love a fellow spotlighter turning up to enjoy some house music ;)
Other then that I can't help but will send him a message now alerting him to this thread and see if he can help.
