Which of these would be best for a lads weekend? What would the options be club-wise? Which has the hottest burds?

Newcastle = yes

Shindig?

(but then I live near Manny so going NE would be more of an adventure)

Of the four I've only been to Newcastle but I did have quite a fun night out.
As for the ladies, short skirts and pale legs a plenty!

I've only been to Liverpool - great night there. I think Northern cities seem to have the same environment as going on a lads holiday to say Greece, minus the weather.

I've heard very very good things about Newcastle from a lot of mates who have been. Work mates, football mates, cousins.

Women are meant to be everywhere in Newcastle!

Not been to Nottingham, but of the other 3, I would say Liverpool, because its got a bit of culture about it and I found the people are nicer..... more fun and up for a laugh.

Dont come to nottingham for many reasons if you want a good night out with the lads unless you like crap bars like yates(fight club) squares(crap music hardly ever full) and flares(crap and the only club of note is oceana(also very crap) as is the gatecrasher who throw Ibiza nights without actually playing the kind of music I have ever heard in Ibiza :D They do have the odd famous DJ do a night though. If you have a decent wedge of cash there is a better side to nottingham called the lace market, but its very expensive and not really good in my opinion. You have to be ready to fight with not only the lads in the pubs but the kids on the street, town is littered with gangs waiting to mug folk now tool'd up.
Been out in Newcastle and it had a really good vibe, went to Digital night club also good vibe lots of fit women to. I would suggest you give all them three up and go Leeds instead it's a really good vibe in the bars and it has plenty of decent electronic music if you fancy a bit of techno or a decent house night.

what sort of a comment is that??

Been out in all four and I have to say Newcastle is my favourite.
Go to Liverpool and Manchester a lot as they are close by so maybe that's why i think Newcastle is a better option. Not a massive fan of Nottingham...Leeds is another good shout if you haven't been there.

only one I've not been to is Nottingham. For a lads weekend I'd recommend Newcastle. Total cattle market then you can hit shindig @ warehouse or Digital. Last time I was down that way Laurent Garnier was playing digital all night.

And Larrnden's streets are paved wiv' gold guv'nor....

Newcastle's Bigg Market is what many people think of when someone mentions a "Night Out in Newcastle".

However, the idea that this is where everyone goes for a night out in Newcastle is ridiculous - it's where the teenage scallies go to fight / pull.

Reality is it's a small but famous part of the nightlife in the city. I've been out in Newcastle literally hundreds of times (used to own a bar in Newcastle) and been to the bigg market once (or maybe twice). Truth is, even as a 18 year old, the Bigg Market was ****.

If you go to Newcastle and end up in the Bigg market you're about five minutes walk in all directions from completely different scenes, if you can be bothered to look.

There are lots of attractive women in Newcastle, as mentioned, however none of them will be in the Bigg Market

manchester it is. start off at bernard manning's embassy club for a laff, then down to foo foo lamar's (loads of burds on hen nights) and finish off at rotters, pips, or placemate 7 for pulling, or for an alternative night, the world famous conti club.

On a few "lads" nights out in Newcastle in the past we found that any large groups were often refused entry to bars, the door staff are welll in tune with the stag/hen do procedure. Even the hotels have 2/3 door staff!!! The quayside is a good area to drink.

Manchester is a bit tamer but can have its moments, but I dont stay over often travelling in on the Freda and catching a Joe home. Its also got Sankeys (love it or hate it) which is busy both Fri and Sat. The city's bar areas are very spread out, its a big town centre, the Northern Quarter being the place of the moment. There is less of a pissed up under 25's crowd as they tend to stick with the smaller towns nearby (Bolton, Warrington etc).

My uncle used to DJ there!

Dont forget the Twisted Wheel.

Have been to Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham a lot, and Newcastle a couple of times.

For a lads weekend, of the 3 i would say liverpool would suit you best. Its imply easier to get in the better bars etc in a big group than it is in Manchester or Nottingham (though the Northern Quarter in Manc is ace).

Club wise in Liverpool pretty much revolves round the 2 big ones for decent (ie non commercial) music...Circus and Chibuku. Circus is the last sat of the month and there are usually 2 Chibuku parties per month both on Saturdays.

If you want any further information regarding bars, hotels etc etc give me a shout.
