INTRODUCE YOURSELF PLEASE

Hi all, I'm called Tre, or OlderYouth. I'm 27, male, from Richmond, VA.

Had a great time in 6-11 Aug and then 10-14 Sept. in San An both times.

Next time I think I might stay in either Ibiza Town or PdB as Sant Antony was a fun place for a couple of nights, I can't imagine making it my home base everytime I visit the island.

Been into house/electronic/etc. music for a while, since highschool. I like Groove Armada and Paul van Dyk. Sanchez is close third, I'd say. Also Tiesto, etc.

We plan on arriving in Ibiza July 1st and leaving two weeks days later on the 14th. From what we've read, it's best for first timers to avoid the crush of closing season.

We have been looking for the best party destination in the world and keep seeing Ibiza as the spot.

We have been together for 6 years, and were recently married. We figure now's the time for our honeymoon Ibiza is the place to do it.


We have a few questions, and are hoping we can find some answers without to much flaming.

1- What's the sexual atmosphere like? Repressed, Open? More men than women? More women than men?
2- What's the average cost (USD) of a night out on the island enjoying the legendary club scene? Not really looking for the passed out face down type of drunk mind you... a quiet buzz is good.
3- How are us Americans received on the Island?

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!

I was introduced to Ibiza when my sister was a rep out there and fell in love with the place.

Both me and my hubby would love to live on the island and if i could think of something to do work wise then i would be over like a shot!!!
(at the mo i am a nurse specialist working within the alcohol community treatment services - although i expect there is a need for my services the want is probably not really there!!! LOL)

Its been a while!

Ages since ive been on here, probably cos i havent been to Ibiza in almost 2 years now..the shame. Heading over start of July so thought id dust off the cobwebs and get involved. Been over 5 times so far and every year it just gets better and better, cant wait!!
 
I'm sure you will have a great time, this site is a great place to find out stuff to help you get the most from your trip. What part of the island are you staying in?

24 Year old pom who lived in Aust all his life and I hav just moved back to the UK, not sure for how long, depends on how i handle the winters! Definately as I am a PE teacher, teaching in the winter mite be a bit of a downer

After seeing the craziness of Ibiza on TV many years ago, I knew Ibiza had to be the number one place on my list of places to see before I die...After making plans since November 2007, and then saving money for the last year, I'm finally going to the island with my best friend as a college graduation present to myself!

I like pretty much all types of electronic music, but absolutely worship trance.

I'm hoping to get an understanding of why people call Ibiza magical--from the beaches to the nightlife...it's going to be an amazing trip (I just wish the lineup for Armada's opening night would be posted!!!)!

hi my name is Mike and I am new to this forum.I am 24 and love house music.I went to ibiza for my first time in 2003 and was hooked straight away and went every year until 2006.I then calmed down abit, met my girlfriend who I have been with 3 and half years.I had a 2 year break from Ibiza and went to cuba and cyprus the following 2 years.But I am going back to my favourite place in the world again this year for my 5th time and cant wait. I love Ibiza! my favourite day being sundays at space!, dc10,bora bora!.
