Internet Dating

After 6 months of messaging but too busy to meet anyone I finally gave it a go, met a few guys nice enough the only one I was keen on dated few times but found out he was messaging my mate nd housemate at same time so no real future there ;)

Went on an afternoon dare with on online dater then met the girls for tea at local Toby carvery where I met my current bf you never know where it's gonna happen 8)

Given up looking for the time being. I'm moving down to Brighton in just over three months, I don't want to maintain another long distance relationship.

I would never do internet dating because if I was single I'd be happy being single waiting to randomly meet the right person however long it took.

The thing I'm most surprised about is the amount of people on this forum who clearly do, and agree with, internet dating. Yet I saw a post in which a bloke was asking how easy it is to pull in Ibiza and he get called sad and gets the mick taken out of him. I would much rather meet someone in Ibiza than someone, who might not even look like they do in the pictures, off the internet.

The only good thing about the UK smoking ban is that you get the chance to chat to randoms on a night out. Take advantage people.

Never say never my friend, thats all i will say ;)

I only started on the sites as most Sunday nights when single are boring as f**k so thought meh why not sign up and see what happens but even before that i was on certain sites where i would meet people and to this day i have met some fantastic people who have become friends and have been for the last 6 years and even now the guys i dated from pof i still randomely chat with and not to mention my current bf who i will most certanly be with for the resr of my life.

I think these days dating sites arent shunned upon and people arent as embarassed to say you met someone online - i mean why would you be embarssed if you have met a person you like and get on with ? 8)

I dunno I just couldn't look for a relationship, I don't think I could do speed dating either. I enjoy being single as well as being in a relationship. I suppose if it wasn't for facebook I wouldn't be angaged now. I met my fiance on a night, we got chatting and had all the same interests. We both had partners at the time but I told him to add me on facebook. I spoke to him a few times on chat about music and club nights stuff like that. When we were both single he asked me out. I don't think meeting people is sad or embarrassing like I think people hooking up on here to meet people in Ibiza is a good idea. I just dont think there is any point searching for a soulmate.
