Shame to think of the opportunity that was probably missed in this case. Could have been such a great advertisement and signal to the rest of the world considering the amount of attention the name DC10 gets - additionally after such a long time and with this line-up.

Obvs just going by the experiences and comments here in the forum. No idea if this is what was perceived elsewhere, as well.

I'm also still convinced that there will be buzz leading up to next summer regardless of these DC10 antics - IF next summer is at least somewhat back to normal. But could have gone better no doubt.

Well, that was an absolute shit show…

…until I got inside.

That queue system was just ridiculous. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been that patient in my life - to then watch security and whoever else let practically anyone they knew jump the queue was pretty horrific to be honest, and VERY demoralizing. Everyone in the queue was absolutely battering the ‘no soul for sale’ moto they’ve got on the wall

I almost gave up a multitude of times - but got really f***ing close to leaving when I was only 3-4 people back from the security on the door (queue 3 out of 4) because it was literally like a stampede of people and everyone was basically getting crushed.

I got separated from everyone I was with, ended up in the final queue on my own but luckily saw someone else that I knew rock up close by.

Once inside - completely different story.

Everyone was telling me how lovely and spacious it was in comparison to ‘normal’ times. I was hoping for some track ID help from you guys here but I guess not this time around.

It was mega.

Base heavy, music loud, so many happy people.
Spent some time in each room - everywhere was packed - being my first time I remember asking one of the girls I was with ‘what happens to all the people outside at midnight - they have to fit in there?’ (Pointing to main room / terrace). I just got a shrug 😂

taxis were a shambles afterwards too. Lights came in at 5 and I got home practically dot on 7 shivering so…

I have friends that want to tackle it next week but I literally can’t think of a good enough game plan other than get there at bloody 1-2pm and have a lift home! The middle but - amazing - but the start and finish makes me REALLY not want to bother.

guesties should be strictly limited, otherwise it gets very wanky indeed

you can't market yourself as the only punk in town and then play the snidey corporate game. you can't have it both ways...

The “no queue if you’re a wanker” element was probably the most off- putting of the experience. The regular punters were in their day wear, the guesties who showed up at dusk dressed for the night: men in jeans and sweaters, women in body suits, army netting wrapped around , bovver boots and a Darth Vader style- cloak to complete the look. Im sure you can picture it . Not very practical if you’re in a line in the sun for 3-4 hours prior.

The crush to get inside when the music goes off in the garden is always crazy. Even more so at opening and closing when it’s massively over capacity 😩

How long were you queuing? What did they charge in the end? Hope you enjoyed it. Sorely tempted by the closing. @TiffyBennett1

grand total of 5 hours (honestly I can’t believe I did it)

€80 - and the only indication of that was when I got to the payment point at the end of the 5 hours lol.

heard a few stories of people rocking up around midnight and waiting 20-30 mins but they got in - might be a decent idea. Or set up camp early (luckily there was a porta-loo in the carpark)

5 hour queue and a portaloo has serious Glastonbury vibes about it. Glad it was worth it Tifflar

Sounds a complete shambles. Fairplay to some you waiting couple hours for entry, I would not have the patience. Could see police closing it down as so badly organised & I can gaurentee you the other clubs will be pushing this also.
Just gonna chill at pool today but back home tomorrow night 😥😥😥still been fantastic 2 weeks on the island hopefully all is good 2022 ❤❤❤

Oh Christ. Sorry to hear that. Think I will save my pennies. Hope it was worth the queue.

personally if I'd run the door I would have reduced the doortax for people who had been queuing all day. would've been the decent thing to do. but obviously you're just cattle to them. I got mugged off at el chiringuito too last month when I ate the most expensive farmhouse chicken known to man, so trust me I'm not laughing at anyone.
