Capriati is more boring than the last time i saw him in biza

The parisians girl made it to dc10 after warning them to go very early (4h45pm 5 hours waiting , i heard aso some people 5h30 and in at 10h30 pm).. and one other italian contact girl made it too
no one of the whatsapp groupe made it...lessons learned for oct 18th ...i cant imagine for oct 25th staying in parking at midday?

Sadly predictable for the first major club in Ibiza, there would never really be a ‘fair’ way and all clubs would have struggled I think.

Doesn’t help that DC10 is pretty small. Gutted for those that had wasted trips

no sorry, fully disagree here. bad organisation is all. if you wanted to do things properly if'd be easy to.

today sadly was an example on how NOT to run an event

Ok. Interested to hear here, guess I was just speaking at a high level - a massively over subscribed event, relatively small venue (although why not open all rooms immediately) so was always going to be mad busy and people disappointed is what I was getting at

If it was first come first serve then the queue needed to be controlled so it was fair and those who had queued the longest got in first - quite simple to manage with more staff who actually enforced this and some professional barriers rather than someone putting plastic tape between the odd plastic barrier at 6pm once the queue was huge. I also think it’s terrible how the club said absolutely nothing beforehand about tickets, pricing, entry, Covid rules etc just posted the line up and the opening time and let it become the pandemonium that it was… seems so irresponsible and totally unnecessary. The Insta stories from inside do look brilliant but I expect to see more stories of over crowding as the night goes on. Hopefully they keep it all safe and everyone has a ball in there!

Think of the positives, no Michael Bibi
I like Michael Bibi *shrugs*

That being said, reports of this queue isn't making me want to go over for next week. Had been hovering over the flight and hotel (which are still very cheap) for a while.

A few of my friends are inside now though, so I'll find out how it was tomorrow and if it's worth it.

2 guys next to me in the queue, who I actually overtook as they were getting busted, just been hit by a double whammy from Gardia Civil for urinating in public and fined for possession, as well as losing whatever they had of course. Nature is healing
Guardia back to their searches outside dc10 then? Nature really is healing.

Seriously though, who can hack 12 hours of dc10 without "assistance"?

Absolutely this too
For me personally I want to enjoy the real Ibiza.
Those limitless, uncompromising, all-out flat out unshackled knees up nights out. The characters, the vibes, the energy, the magic, the feels.

So me and the GF have booked for a whole 14 nights! at the start of June next year - I would stick it in the who has booked 2022 topic but it hasn't been created yet. But if it was created id be all over it. Because it means a lot.
Amen to that 🙌

Same mate, soon as I know my work rotation for 2022 I’ll be looking to book up!

ah man reading these tales... I feel bad for punters treated like shite. a pre-booked ticketing system linked to your unique id seems the obvious answer, to get around these issues and to get around the tout problem. Personally I'm fairly certain I would have absolutely hated the music on offer at DC10 so it wdn't have been for me anyway but I can understand why others would have been desperate after so long. I spent nearly 3 hours queuing to see louie vega at fabric for my 30th and remember it just totally killed the buzz

Wondering , that only 2 or 3 clubs have events. Yesterda you could see , that there are enough people there who want to go to the clubs.
They ( the clubs ) can get 88 Euros , no problem.
Think they would fill some more venues until end of october if they are open. They can earn money with it. Not too much events , but some more ...

Wife and I arrived in the line just before 1630, we stuck it out as a stupid kind of challenge, and got in around 2100, something like that.

As others have said the car park queue was getting silly as it got dark . Literally hundreds of Ibiza “insiders “ - DJ’s mate and cousins, Ibiza Pro Club Man, Ibiza Pro Club Man’s Girl and Crew etc etc - cut to the front . Then there was another longish line at the door - 60 mins or so - which was terribly organised , for the theatre of mask wearing and Covid checks while the Guardia Civil watched-on. One security guy got very aggressive and started seriously shoving people around which was pretty unpleasant.

Inside though was AMAZING. It was like Covid hadn't happened. Except you kept waiting for it to get uncomfortably busy as the night wore on, but this didn’t happen. Highlight for us was ToU closing out the Garden, then a little bit in the Main Room (which was v busy ), then home to catch some sleep before our little 2 year old boy knew we were missing ….

The question neither of us could answer was why this crazy system was a good thing for Covid compliance. Surely better to sell x thousand tickets online and have people arriving , staggered, all night.

Gutted for those that didn’t get in, must have been such a anti-climax. Am feeling rather relieved I didn’t extend my trip for a day to the tune of another 400 euros to go though…

To be honest the whole thing of letting the rich and well networked to cut the queue in droves confirms a feeling I’ve had about circoloco/DC10 for a while… in spite of the anti-vip purist clubbing image they present they are actually one of the biggest corporate money grabbing operations going with very little care for the average punter. ‘No soul for sale’ indeed….

Really is sad to see so many queue for so very long.... personally the only people in the world that should be queuing this long are those in a 3rd world country waiting for a slice of bread.

If I waited that long in a queue i'd be so mad that by the time I gained entry the music and venue would just be sh!t. I place too much value and respect on myself to hand that amount of time and muggery over to a club.

Good for you that you managed to get in and experience it, but the thing is...this still isn't worth waiting hours and hours in line and getting treated badly by security...since you can have the amazing-covid never-happened everywhere in Europe right now. Sure it's Ibiza, DC10, great line up...but look at London, Amsterdam (ADE in a few days), all with a fair ticketing system, normal prices, no hassle and in some countries also not too crowded because of the 75% rule. This is bad management, creating a hype over the backs of your own audience.

Was it worth it ?

Let me put it this way: we wouldn’t have bothered had we known what lay ahead when we joined the queue.

They can get away with at present because it’s the only true clubbing option on the entire Island (Amnesia opening/closing aside) .

This is precisely why I walked away when I did, despite being so close. I just knew I was unlikely to stay long and I would have resented that

I joined the queue before @JBee , so I was probably under half an hour away before I would've got in, judging by his experience. But there you go

It was actually Adam Port's music that kept me queuing for as long as I did

guesties should be strictly limited, otherwise it gets very wanky indeed

you can't market yourself as the only punk in town and then play the snidey corporate game. you can't have it both ways...
