We ended up walking back to Es Vive from Dalt Vila last night as completely forgot about the 1am curfew and there were very few taxis at the usual rank by the MAC store on Av de Bartomeu de Roselló. Strangely saw a few with the green light on approaching but they all turned towards Marina Botafoch.

The irony is that the 1am curfew is causing a sea of people all leaving at once, so will increase the risk of people catching & spreading COVID!

They seem to have either moved that rank to the port or created a new one there. It’s opposite Bella Napoli. Not sure if it’s temporary or for good? But we stood at that MAC one for a while a couple of weeks ago too and none came along - They all seem to head to there now.

Definitely depends on the room. We actually moved rooms today (we arrived late last night) as it was MUCH smaller than usual. In a better room now.

Where are you here until? Should say hi!

Of course….I’m keeping a low profile as a bit fecked from last night…will be coming out to play shortly though!

Think this was a change a couple of summers ago as when they banned drinking outside on the West End after midnight everyone was just street and beach drinking...but I could be wrong!
 
Just back form 10 days in Ibiza amazing time, stayed at Ushsaia....tbh didn't notice there was a Pandemic, mask wearing aside. Pool parties etc were pumping, little quieter on street and beech which was quite nice...used Salutlabs for PCR who were amazing straight to my hotel room with nice WhatsApp updates and status. Was thru Ibiza airport on arrival in about 10 mins, Heathrow yesterday was the same...just do the paperwork and have on phone was easy only checked at checkin....loved the trip thinking about going back in Sept. I was super apprehensive before hand for no reason...

I flew from Ibiza to Warsaw, thought flying back to Luton would be quicker as it's a smaller airport. Was in passport queue for almost 90 minutes, and taxi driver told me Heathrow has been quicker since they opened an extra terminal :(

* Btw, the whole Ibadan back catalogue is full of goodies like that if you want to get more into house.

I was sat (barely) next to @W_I_C and I was like 'how on earth do you not know this' - but then again I do have a few more clubbing years on my shoulder yeah.

such a tuuuuuune.
 
one bit of advice for anyone coming to the island in the next few days: prepare for proper heat. the perceived temperature will go up to 44ºC in the coming days. climax on sunday probably.

stay hydrated and best to stay close to the sea!
