Frightened Rabbit, Goldhawks And More Confirmed For Ibiza Rocks
With just days to go before we kick the summer off in Ibiza we can confirm a raft of new acts for the Ibiza Rocks line up.
Detroit Social Club will be kicking things off for Ian Brown on June 15 and hot newcomers Goldhawks are the opening act for The Courteeners on June 22, while August 10 sees Scottish indie greats Frightened Rabbit warm up for the Kooks.
To top it all off, Reverend Sound System, the dance arm of Sheffield's Reverend and the Makers, will be playing two monster sets at the Ibiza Rocks After Parties at Es Paradis on June 22 and August 31.
The DJ set will be led by frontman Jon McClure on vocals, wife Laura on keys and Jagz Kooner on decks.
Here's how the Reverend himself describes what you can expect:
"Reverend Soundsystem is my party project. Its mission statement is making music like you never heard The Beatles. It's me touring for 5 years and realising the most exciting music is bassline being made in Sheffield. Ibiza is a mecca for electronic music so it’s only right that one of our first gigs is out there."
Need we say more? If you're not there - you're missing out. Simple as.
