This weekend Radio 1 are coming to the White Island - and where do you suppose the UK's greatest radio station has decided to set up shop? That's right, this year Radio 1's Ibiza Weekend will be hosted by our fine selves at The Ibiza Rocks Hotel.

Here's what you can expect whether you're on the island or tuning in at home:

Friday August 1 will see Vernon Kaye broadcasting from poolside between 4 and 7pm (5 and 8pm Ibiza Time) with Pete Tong taking over the decks from 7 to 9pm (8 'til 10pm Ibiza Time). Joining them will be this week's legend Sam Sparro.

(And once you're done with Radio One you could do a lot worse than check out the latest legendary line-up with our good friends over at Manumission starring the legend Paul Oakenfold, Zane Lowe and Lottie. Zane and Oakenfold will also be running a pre-party party at Bar M from midnight. Don't miss.)

Next up on Saturday August 2 BBC 1xtra and Radio 1 will be joining forces to broadcast simultaneously from the IR Hotel, with Trevor Nelson and Zena joined by headliner extraordinaire Dizzee Rascal and the legendary Roots Manuva.

It's a great honour for us to play host to some of the biggest names in broadcasting and we want all of you to share our joy. Tickets will be available on the door but numbers are limited so if you want to party by the pool and get broadcast live to the UK be sure to get down to the Ibiza Rocks Hotel nice and sharply.

And as if all this wasn't enough, there'll be still more Ibiza Rocks action on your airwaves when our very own Steve Aoki rolls out his debut Essential Mix on Radio 1 this Saturday night (August 2) from 2 'til 4am.

Radio one at ibiza rocks hotel

Over at the Radio One website right now you can see and hear all the highlights from the station's bash at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel last weekend.

Particularly scintillating is the opportunity to watch Dizzee Rascal's set in full, but you can also thrill to the video adventures of Pete Tong, Vernon Kaye and pretty much everyone else who was there.

Disco Bomb Ibiza - Too Rock n Roll for the Fun Police - on the move again!

The Ibiza Fun Police have been at it again and for the 2nd time Disco Bomb has had to move venues because - Its too successful!!!! Last year we had to move from our original home - Savannahs Funky Lounge, and this week we've had to leave the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. The town hall were on the phone to the Hotel last thurs morning after our 4th party there and told them there were too many people leaving the venue at 6am, and they couldn't be doing that again!!!

So again we're on the move again...from this wednesday we'll be in Opium, in San An's West End. A cool bar, with proper worker priced drinks, just down from Black Beards...

Kicking off at 3am and carrying on til 6am, with residents Sean Hughes, Jamie Gittins & Barry Hughes...come down and join the fun!!

Mon 25th Aug - Disco Bomb meets The Electric Playground in Coco Loco room of Privilege for Tiesto's amazing weekly party...

the Ibiza Rocks hotel has had a really successful season.

They’re really injecting Ibiza with something fresh and new.

It’s just what the island needs and people don’t just listen to one genre of music these days, they like to mix it up with a bit of everything.

I’ve attended Ibiza Rocks gigs three times in recent weeks - me and my wife Amanda saw The Enemy, We Are Scientists and Dizzee Rascal and Sam Sparro and they were all great performances.

Xbox is seeing Ibiza’s summer season out in style this year. This Xbox Weekender is set to be bigger and better with Mystery Jets, The Cuban Brothers and Zane Lowe performing where the likes of The Whip, Esser, Pilooski, and Filthy Dukes have already been. Following on from the hugely successful launch of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel with the Enemy, and the Radio 1 Weekend, this free event promises to be one of the must attend events of the summer.

From watching bands on stage to being on stage yourself, Rock Band and Lips (the exciting new singing game) Sessions in the Xbox Social will give you a chance to show off your hidden talents as the next Mick Jagger or Ozzy Osbourne. The standards on stage will be high though, as the Xbox September Weekender will be home to some 40+ Xbox 360 Rock Band Live competition winners all eager to relive their winning performances.
