Dance To The Radio

The Enemy proclaimed The Ibiza Rocks Hotel to be the "best hotel in the world" and Radio 1 clearly agree as they've just confirmed we'll be hosting their 'Ibiza Weekend' on August 1st and 2nd.

On Friday Vernon and Pete Tong will be broadcasting live to the nation from poolside. Here's when you can catch them:

4 to 7pm Vernon live at Ibiza Rocks

7 to 9pm Pete Tong live at Ibiza Rocks

Visitors to the hotel that weekend should expect lots of surprise guests and a huge party...

What a first year it’s been for Disco Bomb! From its humble beginnings in Savannahs Back Room in San Antonio last July, to this summer co-hosting Cream terrace at Amnesia and the back room at Tiesto’s night at Privilege, things certainly have moved up a gear! Add to this a new weekly residency in the Electric (club) in the Ibiza Rocks Hotel every Wednesday.​


With a music policy that would make 2manyDJs sound conservative, Disco Bomb’s sound is a mish mash of Fidgit House, Rock, Breaks, Indie, D&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Disco & pretty much anything else that makes the crowd go wild!​

Started as a bit of a laugh for worker friends by Sean Hughes (Cream resident) and Jamie Gittins (FILTHY gorgeous Promoter/resident), Disco Bomb grew so popular at Savannahs that it had to move due to sound restrictions, as described in ‘One Week To Live Magazine’ last summer: “Those Party-pooping authorities have been at it again, by causing Savannahs Back Room to stop the super-soar away Disco Bomb party there last Wednesday because, err, it was too much of a success! The Disco Bomb boys decided to take the party to Hogans in the West End, presumably as a challenge to see if they could ram a totally naff club venue. They did!”​

After a winter of parties hosted back in the UK in London, Brighton and Leeds and 2 parties at the stunning Mezzanine beach side venue in Tulum, Mexico, Disco Bomb returns back to its home: Ibiza.​

Still a workers favourite, Disco Bomb residents Sean Hughes and Jamie Gittins played the closing set on the terrace at Amnesia for the Cream opening party back in June (see youtube videos below), with another date co-hosting the terrace on 11th Sept. They also have 2 dates with Electrik Playground in the back room of Tiesto’s huge event in Privilege on 28th July and 25th August. You can catch Disco Bomb weekly now at their new residency in the Electric (Club) in the new Ibiza Rocks hotel every Wednesday from midnight til 6am starting this Wed 16th July. Full lineup of guests is still to be confirmed, but old favourites including Cassette Jam, ‘We Loves…’ Scott Martin & ‘Ibiza Rocks’ Gash DJs are sure to be pooping down to join weekly residents Sean Hughes, Jamie Gittins, Doorley & Barry Hughes for some fun…​
