ibiza gossip 2025

Waiting for the first person to ask… When’s the 2026 Opening Party? lol

That talk is for after October folks :p

hahahahaha written by the moderator himself hahaha :D

easter is 5/6 april, I would think chnois will do a few parties then

IMS is confirmed for 22-24 april, which means that opening weekend is 24-27 april (amnesia, hi, ushuaïa, possibly unvrs too, pacha and dc10).

Always enjoy the “state of affairs” types posts - cheers @stivi and @W_I_C

Fully agree with the multiple, shorter visits across the season as have spotted this trend amongst people my age. Guess as people get older they cannot drop responsibilities for a fortnight, but can get away from the kids etc for a long weekend or two.

Are any 18 year olds still doing a two week holiday these days?! That was how I did my first visit in 2001! Those days are gone now?

The presale tickets kills spontaneity - which I think is a sad thing, but appreciate it helps people in terms of cash flow through the year.
It seems the 10-14 day holidays are more the exception now. Considering the prices have x2 since covid, its understandable.

Also next to my hotel in pdb there are boat trip type kiosks, out of about 7 only 2 are open. No idea if that is normal or not.

Any Beat Hotel info for this year? Seen they have an event at Akasha on 28/09 but thats all i can find

I've been wondering this myself! They had that pop up during IMS, but haven't heard anything since. I'd really like to see them again at the end of the month.

I feel like I haven’t heard a thing about Hi outside of Black Coffee. I wonder how those parties have been doing.

I think I already mentioned this a few weeks back, but hï isn't in the easiest position this summer.

objectively seen:
- before the opening of unvrs, it was the 'newest' thing here on ibiza, that's now suddenly completely gone
- before the opening of unvrs, TNL made sure it was 'world's no 1 club' - that's changed as well, TNL are now openly trying to get unvrs to become the world's number one club asap
- compared to 2024, the club 'lost' guetta, tale of us, fisher and prydz to another venue

and so, even if hï still has a strong line up this summer, it's just not the most exciting news anymore in terms of a venue, plus let's be honest, the biggest artists are now at unvrs. don't get me wrong about people like dom dolla & hugel, but they're just not making the same waves as the likes of fisher etc...

and so, to reply to neo's question, I believe most parties at hï have done OK this summer, but there are a few undeniable facts:
- with the exception of black coffee, none of those parties is as packed as hï used to be in 2022-2024 (and that is possibly a good thing actually)
- from what I hear (and sometimes it's even evident when you see videos from parties), what really seems to be suffering at hï this summer (again, with the exception of black coffee) is the vip. that's not a surprise though, the new big thing is unvrs and the tables crowd will always switch to the next big thing so that was to be expected. but it makes for a pretty big change in just one year I think.

Since we are now in September, let's address the state of play.

It should be clear to those of you who frequent the forum often that both July and August haven't exactly gone how a lot of businesses would like. And although the clubs would certainly like to be fuller (and within that, there are definitely some real losers who are finding the increased competition a mammoth challenge), actually nightlife overall is faring a lot better than some of the other sectors.

The positives? Well, after years of people complaining the clubs are too busy, there is currently some comfortably busy dancefloors (again, there are of course exceptions), so arguably the consumer is benefiting.

Throw in some great ticket options - with or without drinks included - I'm looking at Pacha and Chinois specifically, and this is the most affordable Ibiza clubbing has been in some time, if you play your cards right and can be flexible. That might mean early or late arrival. Personally, I never really liked getting to a club super early. But everyone is different.

While many are taking the view that peak season underdelivered, September and October are shaping up as rockets, as you can surmise from a cursory check of flight and hotel prices. It seems that trend is set to continue. Seemingly the days of cheap closing party getaways are gone.

Long term prognosis isn't quite as good.

Next year is not only a world cup year, which we know historically Ibiza always takes a hit during, but given the competition is taking place in the USA, the kick-off times are all late evening for European audiences. This will hurt attendances, there is little doubt. The clubs would be wise to start planning for this in advance. I reckon we could well see some super early bird prices in January and February, albeit non-refundable options

I prefer a 70% to 80% occupied Ibiza, but of course the business owners does not.

When Ibiza is 70% to 80% occupied, everything is just better, especially the clubs.

anyways, i think the Hype of Ibiza night life it self is gone.

I dont want to talk about the past, but it is part of the declining number of visitors.

1- Space closing.

2- Parties ending at 6 AM, when it used to finish at 8 or 9 AM or sometimes even Music On at Amnesia at 10 AM.

3- The DJ's and nights shaping the techno scene in Ibiza are either getting old, their sounds changes or changed venues.

4- The crowd themselves getting old, we the people who used to go in mid 2000's till mid 2010's are now getting old ourselves and just cannot spare the same money, energy and time in Ibiza.

🤣

Agree with most of the above

#4 for me true too unfortunately 😅. The midnight- 4/6am nights are brutal for me now.

But talking to younger people in 20s-30s, a lot said they wished started earlier as they found it really hard going also.

I guess originally late late would be when it was coolest so made sense, I wonder if there would be an opportunity to run a daytime clubbing thing (not o beach thing).

I would also say it feels like some venues are just check lists to many now, and once done not that bothered about doing them again. Where as in the past places like space generated a proper love for the venue, drawing people back.

And of course the elephant in the room, mental ticket and drinks prices.

Well, the clubs association says the high prices are necessary...

Of course it is. David guetta or whoever can't survive on anything less than €100k+ a night. 😗

The other venues have adjusted prices for tickets and doing drink packages which i think is a good sign though.

Great for guests, of course. But in my opinion, extremely dangerous for the clubs. The first thing you learn in business studies is never to lower prices, because you can quickly end up in a cycle that you can't stop. In two years, everyone will have seen the Hyper Club. Then even all the free admissions probably won't be enough to fill the club every day. Assuming UNVRSE also lowers its prices, what will the others do... lower them again? It will definitely be exciting...

I'm confused how you can simultaneously claim parties ending at 6am is a problem while also claiming the crowd getting older and having less energy is a problem. This works fine for me?

Correct, just confirmed by the club. I'm told this is not Ibiza-specific, but rather all upcoming MRAK dates.

Ticket holders will be contacted and auto-refunded later today.
I don't know I'm not buying that, Mathane also got cancelled too last week onwards. Something definitely is up.
