Really good.. i think :spank:

@mr_why might be able to shed some more light on the situation

Indeed. It was a really good night. Overall a great Resistance crowd. Started on the Terrace with Joris Voorn, who played a less predictable set than I’ve previously heard him do. By that I mean, not the usual stuff from Ants.

Moved to the Main Room for Sasha & Digweed, who came on at 03:00. A perfectly busy room, lots of space to move and a clued up crowd there to dance and not record. Reminded me how good the main room can be with the right DJ(s). They played slightly harder than I’ve heard recently, as it was 3am and not 3pm, but exactly what was needed. Never got to Shazam much, but usually with these two nothing comes up any way.

It was a very good night indeed.
Spent most of my time in the main room too apart from a little while in the terrace at the beginning when I arrived and Joris was on, I can't say much about his set but I was a bit surprised he played a remix of the latest Calvin Harris single 🤷
The atmosphere was very good in both rooms, not so sure about the switching around of the DJ booth in the terrace tho, in my personal taste I prefer it the "original way".
Solid set by Sasha and Digweed, fantastic 3 hours and like you said a very nice friendly clued up crowd, I kept saying to my friends how nice it was to see people actually dancing and getting lost with the music creating such a good vibe in the process.
Like you, I failed at Shazam massively LOL

Anyone been or know of the rocky desert events ? Think the next is 13 sept ?

last year's one was one of the parties of the summer. my wife went to that and loved it.
this year they've done one in june and as you say the next one is in two weeks.
it's located outside san antonio in an old quarry, famously used for a massive mtv party 20 years ago (or so)

should be good I think!

how is pyramids doing during this season and resistance at amnesia?
Pyramid much the same as every year: some busy dates, depending on guests and competition, and some dates a lot quieter for the same reasons.

RESISTANCE doing really well generally, although also some busier weeks and some quieter weeks. If you take the view that they are essentially starting their profile here from scratch (and without the might of Coxy as before) then really, they are doing very well in "year one"

Agree. And it’s on a Wednesday, and up against 90% of the Brits on the island being at Paradise.

Good.

Anyways, specially Amnesia, to enjoy the time there, the club floor needs to be 80% full only.

I like Amnesia when its not fully packed.

Music On there at some days it was awful from the crowdness.

Quite. Not sure that is what the owners had planned…
Makes you wonder if they'll make it seated like the las Vegas sphere thing - its more a concert thing.🤷‍♂️

But guess its competing with Hi as well.

With it been completely boxed in from outside world, you wonder why they don't make it a 10am - 4pm club thing. Us "older" clubbers would love this.

Keep it dark inside during the event, and when people leave it will bright sunshine outside, like when you left space at 8am way back when 😄
