ibiza gossip 2025

Haven’t been but looks like it’s just the old ‘seal pit’ for the outsite bit?
That’s what I thought, but if I’m right it’s a totally new setting further back between the old outdoor stage and nightclub building. ( was there last week)

I managed to find this map here:

https://528ibiza.com/about/

Which also mentions some outdoor bits, the question about it all been available or is a lot of it vip etc still remains.

Have feeling this might need breaking off into another thread about the venue 😄 (admins feel free to do so)

There are areas which are occasionally roped off for VIPs on the Garden Stage. Very small. There's a larger VIP area on the Grand Park Stage. It would never be made publicly accessible even if there were none on any given date, so I don't think it really encroaches on the crowd

I'm not certain that the DJ Harvey standalone date has any outside action. It might have a DJ on the terrace part early doors, similar to the regular Saturday nights but it is being advertised as the club-only

But other than that, yes, all parties use at least one outdoor area
Got an email other day saying that this now starts at 6pm and is using outdoors aswell. Quite pleased about that. Doesn’t look like it’s selling well to me 🤷‍♂️

Just checked and is now Garden and Club! BUT.... Not saying who is playing where...

No, the club will definitely open from 23:00 to 04:00

That is happening nearly every party now, including the last Kaluki and every edition of Brunch Electronik

What i meant was, they plan to only use 1 outdoor stage. Though they might consider using both if the sales justify doing so

Ok gotcha! Thanks for explaining to an idiot :D

This map has came in handy while watching the radio 1 event live just now on the I player. Good aerial camera shots to see it all.

a bit more about 'how's the season going so far', an article in one of the local newspapers...

The message from inhabitants in Spain (Mallorca and Barcelona in particular) that they don’t want tourists has been made very clear in mass-media. Wonder if that hasn’t impacted as well.

Above an article from my local press about how the locals in Ibiza wants the tourists gone.

I saw another article that says German and British visits to Spain are down a few percent this summer. I've certainly seen people on my social media in places I've not seen them before like Albania, Tunisia and Morocco this year. No coincidence that these are much cheaper countries, but they are of course family destinations not a rival for the clubbing.

Hearing fewer British voices on the beaches and in restaurants this summer. Lots more Dutch & French plus of course Spanish.

The fact that even today (and most days in August) you can get an £86 one-way flight with British Airways from Gatwick probably says it all.

I'd say the UK has the worst economy I have known right now, much reduced disposable income about. Meanwhile as we have discussed at length...budget options in Ibiza have gone upmarket over the last decade or so.

Of course Ibiza has many other nationalities to cover a drop in Brits though.

I think I’ve paid less than that in August to / from Gatwick with BA for the last few years due to there being so many flights via the London airports to Ibiza.

I’m flying back to Ibiza after a few days in the UK late August / early September and currently it’s £86 one way every day with BA via Gatwick - never seen it every day before, especially not over an August weekend and just before the schools go back. As I don’t yet know my exact plans, it’s nice being able to hold off booking until much closer to the departure time.

As said above, many UK people I know are taking fewer or far shorter foreign holidays this year.

Should be a good week to visit as Lee Burridge at Akasha on 18/9 (from Tour dates IG announcement) …. Shame we will be a week too early 😢

Where did you see this mentioned? Any other details on the lineup?

Solomun then this the night after is great for me!

It seems flights are "easy" to get hold of at reasonable prices. Accommodation on the other hand isn't.

So many peeps on our FB group asking for people with spare sofa or room to split costs. Or even "can I sleep on the beach" 🤣🤦‍♂️

Are hotels running at full capacity or reduced due to lack of staff?
