For the full experience this year, I think Cocoon is going to the only event that does music on both outdoor stages and then also continues in the club.
As I understand it, tonight for Radio 1 the club will also open at 23:00 although they are stressing that it is not being programmed by R1 (the official After Party is at Amnesia) and will instead be run by 528 themselves
So tonight and 24 September is the real answer (and maybe if they sell enough tickets, SHINE on 25 September could also follow same route? Big ask though)
That said, many of the Pikes Presents dates and the bigger named Friday/Sunday parties (FUSE was mega last weekend, Kaluki is picking up each month, Josh Baker and Max Dean's dates will be huge) are great parties, although only one stage - and normally the Garden Stage.
There will be a couple of exceptions where they use the Grand Park Stage instead. That the old Tree House Benimussa area for any oldies
No, the club will definitely open from 23:00 to 04:00On the Spotlight party calendar it says Shine @528 goes on until 4am. On the home page of the 528 website it says it finishes at 11pm but then when you click on the event page it says it finishes at 4am. Are you saying the club won't open for the indoor bit on the night and that it depends on ticket sales, when it finishes? It seems a lot of conflicting information. Thanks in advance!

That is happening nearly every party now, including the last Kaluki and every edition of Brunch Electronik
What i meant was, they plan to only use 1 outdoor stage. Though they might consider using both if the sales justify doing so
solomun in the port confirmed for 17/9
This map has came in handy while watching the radio 1 event live just now on the I player. Good aerial camera shots to see it all.I managed to find this map here:
https://528ibiza.com/about/
Which also mentions some outdoor bits, the question about it all been available or is a lot of it vip etc still remains.
Have feeling this might need breaking off into another thread about the venue(admins feel free to do so)
The message from inhabitants in Spain (Mallorca and Barcelona in particular) that they don’t want tourists has been made very clear in mass-media. Wonder if that hasn’t impacted as well.a bit more about 'how's the season going so far', an article in one of the local newspapers...

I saw another article that says German and British visits to Spain are down a few percent this summer. I've certainly seen people on my social media in places I've not seen them before like Albania, Tunisia and Morocco this year. No coincidence that these are much cheaper countries, but they are of course family destinations not a rival for the clubbing.
More francophones than French... Belgium and Switzerland.Hearing fewer British voices on the beaches and in restaurants this summer. Lots more Dutch & French plus of course Spanish.

I booked my flights 2 weeks ago for the last week of August. The fact that even today (and most days in August) you can get an £86 one-way flight with British Airways from Gatwick probably says it all.

Should be a good week to visit as Lee Burridge at Akasha on 18/9 (from Tour dates IG announcement) …. Shame we will be a week too early![]()
It seems flights are "easy" to get hold of at reasonable prices. Accommodation on the other hand isn't.The fact that even today (and most days in August) you can get an £86 one-way flight with British Airways from Gatwick probably says it all.
When I was looking at flights I noticed a pattern that flights over weekends (fri sat sun) where most expensive and rest of week significantly cheaper.Only booked my trip for September last week, waited and waited for the flight price to come down and booked at around £125 return (With a 5% jet2 voucher). Still some silly return prices during the two weeks I have off though, I’m talking £300+ on some dates, crazy.
Also looked and looked and looked for some reasonably priced accommodation and it just doesn’t really exist, lot of flashy Instagram type places I just don’t need. So we’re staying at the same place we did last year, Gran Sol in San An, which is very reasonably priced compared to places nearby and has breakfast, gave us a returning discount too. I don’t need a flash place (But don’t want a dump either), we rent a car and are out all day. Think my whole 10 day trip is around £800, can’t knock that.
