I think the production for this and Elrow suits the massive big-budget space at UNVRS and I'd enjoy those nights there for the spectacle.

The problems are when previously music focused nights start going to far with the production and it becomes a phone fest. (Cough) Afterlife (cough)

Prydz has been cheeky before and had visuals of a phone filming the crowd :)

Innovation is good, also in this regard. What I don't like is the trend of standing up with your phone out 90% of the time and then dare to complain because people are dancing too much 😂 These type of parties attract this of course by the masses... Anyhow, this is an "audience" problem and not the artist/event or venue problem.

I will probably either go to Elrow or Prydz to check out UNVRS. I love some spectacle myself 😂 Cox I recently saw in Dubai and Fisher ain't my thing
 
The one party I thought was a guarantee for UNVRS was Afterlife, due to being so oversold each week at Hi. TOU haven't been my thing since probably 2017, but I definitely expected them to make the move across!

Over a week behind but in exactly the same boat. 23 at Space Closing, loved the 2-3 years I got to experience Space before it shut. Went Pikes for the first time last year and absolutely loved it, Amnesia is the last of the old status quo superclubs I still have a soft spot for. Hope it still performs strongly and the Resistance announcement gives me hope there’s life in the old dog yet

I really liked defected at Eden, and I felt they could give lesser known djs a chance there which didn’t bother the Eden crown. Bigger line ups at Ushuaia and now probably pacha doesn’t necessarily mean it will be more successful! Defo more inclined to have a look this summer over last tho 😁

Suppose problem is it’s never going to be as good as Sphere Las Vegas (if that’s your thing), so will be interesting to see how they try and make it something never before seen.

I bet people said the same thing when we flocked to Manumission in parachute pants, blinking visors and Cyberdog gear. But over time we changed and found our way across the road to Cocoon. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with the gateway. For some it's the destination; others will move through it and it serves its purpose!
 
Calvin Harris at Ushuaia Fridays (30-05-2025 till 12-09-2025) AND Tuesdays (01-07-2025 till 26-08-2025) EEK... I know Ants will stay on Saturdays but this doesn't look like the start of a strong line-up for Ushuaia this year....
