ibiza gossip 2025

I saw Keinemusik in 2016 at ADE, no more than 300 there. The following summer at Off Week in Barcelona, they played to about 60 people in a tiny pop up event.... It's incredible how they've not only exploded in terms of popularity but also completely out priced their fans from back in the day

Assuming they are personally making a fortune, it's a akin to the criticism of younger star footballers going to Saudi. Who can turn down unimagined wealth, changing the lives of future generations of their families? Selling out? Deffo, but it's had to argue you wouldn't. (Not you, @The Sun God!, obvs:))

Not having a weekly residency is the reason behind this too. They limit the nights and boom this happens.

The thing is they are now the millionaires / billionaires and their daughters “safe music” go to fashion accessory. People actually think they are cool. Like really they do. It’s as safe as it comes.

Every single Middle Eastern rich person / family into this kind of music will lap this up. Pacha could probably (and maybe should to prove a point) charge €250,500 for those top tables. They would sell it.

Honestly, everyone knows where my musical tastes sit, but I’d honestly look forward to Calvin Harris and Guetta over this. At least everyone is smiling and just having fun.

The real miracle is good music and mass success at the same time. There are some Bands and DJs who are doing it. Guetta ist not one of them. But If they all smiling , Its OK ( for them ).

I agree with this. Whenever I see videos now of Keinemusik, the crowd always looks as bad as it can get. I get the money aspect, but surely they cringe at these people in the booth videoing constantly

Agree its not what any of us here like but its a guaranteed sell out wherever they go.

The clubs make more than enough money to make the sea of phones photos just seem like a after thought and until they loose popularity it wont be the last we see of them with booth price and ticket sales at that level.

I think what we forget is the people on there phones at these events recording the DJ are happy with what's going and what they have paid for even if we wouldn't be.

Will be interesting to see what carls night looks like compared to one these, or will there also be a que of influencer's paid the right ££££ waiting to get in his booth for there tik tok vids?

One thing is for sure, we are at the peak of Afro house. This is the new EDM and the migration to “deeper” music is underway.

Updated from Resistance:

Season Residents: Adam Beyer and ARTBAT who will be headlining all 9 shows this season

Is the 10th Sep times on calendar an error as says 3pm-6am?? Resistance

I agree.

As much as I hate EDM I always thought if it was an intro for people into dance music and they then move on to other dance genres then thats a good thing.
If people are now using this afro house as an intro into clubbing then thats even better.

I get where you are coming from, but will people then think it’s the norm to stand sole less with their phones out or hog a dj booth, because they don’t know any different 🤷‍♂️
