The worst kept secret ever is out! But WhooHooo!
For those of us that had some amazing nights [at Defected @ Pacha] 2007-2012 this is like a nod to the past, but obviously Defected has moved on a lot since then too.
My view, this is a brilliant partnership. Some will argue that they should be in Eden close to the San An base, but I think with the right line-ups this will work. Also, Ushuaia just did not work for Defected, too big and on Tuesdays that slot never seems to work at Ushuaia.
Also, I think moving to Thursday might actually be a very good move when you consider UNVRS have Fisher, though may still have some competition elsewhere. It is also the start of the weekend.
Thoughts?

Agee, and l had some great nights of old in Pacha. If the line ups are right when there l will attend in September. Ushuaia just wasn’t the place for them. One off maybe, weekly nah.

The last time Defected was at Pacha in 2012, they had this up and coming DJ by the name of Solomun play 4 nights across the season... I wonder what happened to him?

In 2018 , Carl Cox also played Amnesia, Pacha and DC10 if I remember correctly

The messages on the Defected IG account are extremely positive so far. Lots of "Home Again" type posts. Usually when nights move you get quite a lot of negative comments - not any yet.
One comment on "Where is Robin Schulz" i.e. the night they replace on Thursdays. But a little bird tells me that he might pop up elsewhere at Pacha on another day of the week... but nothing confirmed yet...

so cells screens was just a test run for 2.0. looking forward to seeing what they do i watched a video about the making of holo and it is very impressive.
