Regarding comments on nobody dancing. I’ve never been to this event so I am just going off videos I have seen and I could be well off the mark, but to me it’s not clubbing music or something you can really dance to in a club. I’m not expecting to see a club full of people with their hands in the air and going for it like at a trance night or music that has more energy to it?

They spread the djs out this year so every week i only saw one or two djs i liked week on week

Yes, very nice crowd. Perfectly busy in garden. Tune after tune was great. Lost track of who was playing. Didn’t stay after 1ish (went to Pikes) but mate said it was pretty unbearable in terms of being able to move and it didn’t thin out much later on as it usually does

Bresh probably works better on a Saturday as it’s Spanish locals main day to go out, I can see Elrow working on any day in Amnesia tbh. But wouldn’t rule out a move to UNVRS.

I thought all the decorations etc were made to messure especially for amnesia, has been very overcrowded for a long time at amensia though on the Saturday so could be a diff night or a move to unvrs €€€€€

I might be way off here, but I think UNVRS will be the big focus for them next season. If they have Elrow, they’ll surely just get it in UNVRS weekly? Guaranteed sell-out and ready made party.

Agreed maby stil a 1 off during peak season , I suppose we should have predicted it with them doing the shows at ushuaia the past few seasons , maby they were just testing the water after all, even with the loss I don't think it will affect things for amneisa but it does seem unvrs are going head to head with them now.
I just got back from the week of closures, what can I say, fantastic weather, Monday it was 30 degrees.
Beautifull party at Chinois with Kerry Chandler.
Beautiful morning at Amnesia, compared to last year Jamie Jones and Capriati played much better and the crowd was involved.
For the last party I went to Playa Soleil, closing party with Keep On Dancing, Mathew Jonson made us fly and Richy Amed gave the final blow.
I quote the fact that October is one of the best times to go to the island, everything is accessible without traffic and various crowds.

Skream didn't play (maybe too cut up because of Jack?) so in the end it was Jamie Jones b2b Seth Troxler b2b TMB. They all wore tees with his name on the back
I think I'm right in saying that's JJ's first Circo appearance since Paradise left for Amnesia (although he has played at DC10 for Solid Grooves in that period)

Probably not hard to guess that Elrow is likely to end up in UNVRS. Probably a win-win for all involved. A guaranteed crowd-puller, low DJ bill, and mighty production that can fill a huge space. I wonder if it stays on the Saturday slot? You would imagine it would, but then I also hoped that Black Coffee would take that. But as the original Hi resident since 2017, maybe Black Coffee stays there? Selfishly I would prefer him in UNVRS as you can't get in the Hi Theatre!
