Really wanna do glitterbox on the 24th but i’ve never been to Hi and the vids i’ve seen look horrendous. Anyone else had bad experiences at glitterbox?
I haven't been to Glitterbox since 2019, but mates are looking at the above date also. Interested to hear on this too.

As mentioned previously, my last visit very much felt more of a drunken hen party vibe, I was touched up twice

Exactly, I'd rather know! Touched up = glitterbox, carried out = every other night. Actually enjoying yourself = anywhere else (even ushuaia or eden or es paradis have a charm!)

One more point regarding Hi: I've been to Glitterbox now several times, most recently in May this year. The only time I thought was really way too crowded was last September, but that was due to the outside parts of Hi not being used to massive amounts of rain pouring down. That way everybody went inside and it was really annoying to move (but still possible). On the other nights, it was full but always room to move and dance.

Also, yes, there were phones in the air when Purple Disco Machine came on, but nowhere near what you see from the more "production heavy" nights.

I don't want to champion Hi or Glitterbox, just think it might be different on different nights (due to different crowds and concepts among others). I was there for the Opening in 2022 and for Guetta in 2019. Both were obviously vastly different in terms of music and crowd and for Guetta it was more like a concert than a club night, at least in the beginning when he came on. But I would think most would know when going to his nights that that is the case?

Will be there again next week for Gliltterbox on Sunday Sept. 17th and will report here. Was thinking about going to Black Coffee the night before as well for the first time (due to Koze playing, really would love to see him), but I'm indeed a little worried about the crowding thing. Will also report, if we decide to go.

The black coffee night looks like hell on earth off videos i’ve seen. Ram packed, phones recording what looks like most the night and 0 dancing going on!

Yeah, that's how it looks to me as well unfortunately...
Will probably give it a miss, but you know how it is in the moment on a Saturday night... Also depends on timetable. Perhaps go early for Koze and leave before it gets too busy/phones in the air.

We always went to Black Coffee around 03:30 / 04:00 in the summer. From 4:30 a.m. it slowly gets empty and you can dance well.

Further highlights: the B2B2B and at 06:30 the last track "Seven Seconds"...😍

One more to Glitterbox:

We were there for Closing (Bob Sinclair) last year and it wasn't too crowded at any time. Very pleasant crowd, great atmosphere and good music.

This year we always went to Pacha (Adriatique and Solomun) on Sundays. So I can't say anything about this year. But I can't imagine it being any different.

Went to Glitterbox last Sunday, it was very busy (theatre and wild corner) a lot of people barging past and getting angry when I didn't move. Music was great, didn't notice too many people filming everything, maybe it's so normal now that it blends in for me. But personally, I prefer that to people who dance backwards into you, however much you move to avoid it.

Holo was less busy and was great, The Menendez Bros were great in the Wild Corner and there was plenty of room to dance. I think I actually prefer Hï to Space now, which I never would have thought I'd say, 6 years ago.
