Will tickets be available through spotlight for this? Is there a mad rush for tickets for these parties? I.E. is it like getting tickets for a Taylor Swift gig lol
Tickets coming v.soon. Certainly I would expect both to sell out, and Hï Ibiza ahead of Ushuaïa but it will be far from instaneously like Glasto/Taylor Swift

Any news how busy Amelie Lens' Exhale night is at DC-10? Is it like circoloco? That was too busy last year.. I don't want to experience that again.

I was just thinking this earlier. How is it doing Vs last season? Anyone been?

It was extremely busy last Wed (30th August) - not quite Circoloco but much, much busier than last year, and in fact we couldn't get into the terrace when Amelie came on - even via the backstage / side entrances.

It seemed they were all casual clubbers though as it thinned out by 3:30 AM.

They seem to be giving away a lot of pre-1 AM guest list which probably explains what is going on in terms of the peaks of business.

We didn't enjoy it as much as last year, actually, and we had bands both times - the crowd was a bit rougher this time, with a fair bit of shoving and we saw the odd bit of trouble. Security BANG on it though.

We love Pan Pot but, for the first time, didn't enjoy them - they were on very early (as was Joyhauser in the terrace). The sound in the second room seemed pretty poor.

Trym and Clara were pretty good; I wanted to stay for the whole set by Clara, but by that point, we were pretty done.

Last season's subpar showing was never down to the music policy imo. Let's face it, that sound is very popular - and there isn't much of it in Ibiza, especially designated nights.
But following Coxy in the week and also having Patrick Topping as a fourth weekly party option at DC10 was really the writing on the wall for it.
Those factors have been eliminated this year (plus the Bibi pull factor at Solid Grooves has also been absent) and, in case a few people didn't know, Coxy's Game Over team are actually helping promote EXHALE this summer.
I wonder how much appetite Amelie will have next summer when she has a new born to factor into her professional life? My gut says she won't completely walk away from playing whilst her career is riding high, so maybe a stable midweek residency in Ibiza will be quite appealing

Many of the people there did not appear to be the typical hard techno crowd.

At least half of them left after only 2-3 hours at the venue.

The promotion is definitely working, however, as it was rammed early on - also started very early.

Her free event / pre-party at Revolver in the port looked really good, but unfortunately we missed it.

sure. but regardless of music policy, that's also true of the majority of Ibiza parties when you remove the "casual tourists". There's a few exceptions of course

Those numbers are important though. Few parties can survive without them

Thanks for this info. Hmm doesn't sound great... this weeks line-up is more obscure.. no pan-pot or joy hauser big names. Could result in less people?

Also...I went to Prydz Holo yesterday, main room was crazy busy, but my complaint is the visuals were cool but I didn't see any 3D hologram really. Is that my eyes or did anyone else feel the same?

Where were you situated? I found centre-mid the optimum point, but I also agree that I've seen HOLO and its EPIC predecessor elsewhere and felt it was more 3D

I’m guessing the set up / screen etc has a lot to play with it.. bit like a club vs mobile DJ 😂

I was there for opening night and was a touch disappointed with the visuals. I had anticipated it being very 3d and it didn't seem that way.
Fortunately I'm tall otherwise it would have been a challenge to see over the plethora of phones!
Ended up spending a good part of the night in Trick room, which I really enjoyed.

Yes Patrick Topping saved my night too! Meet me at the club 🤪

Nothing can ever compare to the rush for Swifty tickets 😎

I'd wager a few things can..

Moral of story: swerve parties with shit crowds.. fairly easily achieved

Paging @The Sun God for his comments on it not being hologrammy enough!

You or any other Londoners might remember, was it the Hippodrome or Equinox that used to do that laser hologram show every weekend? I guess they appeal at a certain time in the night and the Chems have built an entire touring career out of them
