@stivi are there any indications how long Ants will run this season? I'm assuming it'll be on a Saturday still, but wondering if they'll run into October as normal.

Also, do you have any info on Solomun? Nothing confirmed yet about his Sundays at Pacha....

re ANTS, I truly haven't seen the dates yet, but...if you put two and two together, then I would say it will most likely close on 1 oct. why? well, hï and ushuaïa usually close on the same weekend. and while ushuaïa still hasn't announced a lot of events just yet, for hï we already know glitterbox and black coffee will close on 1 respectively 2 october. this makes me think ants will then close on the same weekend and ushuaïa and hï will probably do a joint-closing party (the same way they do for the opening) the weekend afterwards, 8 into 9 october.

re solomun, let's just say I'd be massively surprised if he didn't do sundays at pacha this year (even though it isn't announced just yet). and seeing pacha's saturday residency (claptone's the masquerade) closes on 15 october, I think chances are good solomun will yet again close out pacha's season with a final long party 16 into 17 october.

DISCLAIMER: NONE OF THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED ANYWHERE YET - it is simply my current way of guessing, based on what I've said above. if you wanna be sure that you will hit these parties, you better wait until the promoters actually announce their dates. it's ibiza and while I'm usually pretty good at guessing, I'm not fail proof.

I am over there on 1st October (30th Sept being my birthday) so was kind of hoping they would at least run to that date.

And noted on the disclaimer. Appreciate your input as always!

Spencer parker for starters. I don’t know (yet) but i think he could have a few nice guests…for example robert hood was on a trikk lineup in Scotland

Think at least 2 of my other mates will get a go as well (1 of them 100% will)
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Gerd Janson on one of his lineups either

Includes “non premium spirits” They love to use a measure in there and Hï too- no free pouring!
Ahh that's the one, excludes premium spirits. As mad as it sounds, I'd pay €85 for vodka + mixer. I've paid extortionate prices at Ushuaia for individual drinks...

Normal service has resumed in Ibiza 🙃
Could well be the season of greed as Clubs and bars try to recoup two years of not a lot happening. It’s always been expensive. Ushuaia and Pacha were pushing the boundaries of entry fees right up to covid. It’s disappointing but not a surprise. I remember during lockdowns, posters were often saying they won’t get away with charging €8/10 for a small bottle of water after this. Well, it looks like they will. But maybe the novelty will wear of after 2022 and they will feel the consequences of this after people have had their reintroduction to the island. Time will tell.

I'm not trying to defend anyone here, but...

...I've been on this forum for just under two decades now and the one consistent thing has been how expensive entry to clubs and the drinks in there were.

...also, not sure how much it's felt in other countries currently, but here in spain, electricity cost is at an all-time high. fuel as well. everything's just stupidly expensive right now. so yeah I truly don't forsee anything to get any cheaper this summer!

And that’s why it’s taken me over 30 years to get my arse into gear and visit the Island. I remember reading and hearing about the cost of a bottle of water in the clubs. And seeing as back then I only drank water it put me right off.
Now, I’m in a better position to be able to come and enjoy myself but how are those prices going to keep the 20 year olds coming? They seem to be the bread and butter of the Island.
