Between Solid Grooves and this, DC10 gonna be the UK this summer
No Transmoderna residency this year in Ibiza unfortunately. I've just confirmed with Dixon.
The show at Printworks in October 21 was great. He just said they have other plans this summer for Transmoderna.I’ve not done a Dixon night since September 2019! I need a 12 hour All Night Long dose at some point this summer….
Same night as Defected so an interesting battle for the English on those FridaysThat will be full if English people, paradise part 2

A shame, because it's far more interesting music than all this bland tech house. No Transmoderna residency this year in Ibiza unfortunately. I've just confirmed with Dixon.
Based on what Dixon said, it sounds like a mutual decision at the very least. But yeah, DC10 is going full throttle UK tech house this summer.A shame, because it's far more interesting music than all this bland tech house.

I think you're probably right. I'm as guilty as anybody for placing him amongst the bland tech house artists, but I think he plays a bit more variety from what I've seen. As you say, the label has some more interesting names for sure.In my opinion a few lazy views on Patrick Topping
Ultimately the tech-house will get replaced by melodic arpy stuff (slow trance) then everyone will get sick of trance and return to house. The ciiiiiiiircle of life..... Meanwhile, techno will keep on keeping on.Exactly. But that crap pays a lot of bills though innit... Obviously, hardly anything on this thread has anything to do with the music scene I know, and we're getting older and they're getting younger. Inevitably there is that widening disconnect but I think there are still quite a few alternatives though from Pikes, Akasha, that new place on the bay, a few smaller places to the music bars in the old town. Seems to me that's where all the more interesting/less aggressively hyped stuff is.
As someone who’s known him since waaayyy back i can vouch for this. Some of his releases are mainly tech house but he can certainly change it up set wiseIn my opinion a few lazy views on Patrick Topping - not really my thing from what I have heard, but his music has moved on a bit. Having people like Elliot Adamson on his label (whose album is good) is a good reflection I think
Spencer parker for starters. I don’t know (yet) but i think he could have a few nice guests…for example robert hood was on a trikk lineup in ScotlandI think you're probably right. wonder if he closes any nights in DC10 with some makina aha UP THE NORTHEASTAs someone who’s known him since waaayyy back i can vouch for this. Some of his releases are mainly tech house but he can certainly change it up set wise
