I just spoke to a promoter. seems not everyone is that pessimistic right now. people still have hope for a shorter season

Pretty sure 2020 is a write off for me. Sadly.
I reckon when we get past all of this (whenever that is?), we should all meet up for a spotlight members party.
Just plan it in for a weekend, no matter what, and have a massive get together and party hard.
And then probably die from the hangover/comedown ?

tbh, anyone in the industry, from DJs to promoters and clubs will simply be relieved once clubbing is a go again. it's a complete standstill right now.

I understand most people writing off this summer season already but isn't that slightly premature?
for example, our dates are 2nd-7th September - WE ARE Festival in London have re-scheduled their festival for mid-September & the UK government are offering a guideline of 12 weeks shutdown?
Clubs with 1,000+ people will obviously be one of the last establishments to open, however; I am optimistic in 5-6 months time, we will be over the worst and the industry can re-open....

I go mid Sept and am hoping you're right. This board is a bit of lifeline for Ibiza info at the moment.
