Can you not see why a female DJ might feel uncomfortable with the tradition of female dancers these days? It is her set.

I personally wouldn't want dancers but not for the same reasons. It's all about choice either way, for the dancer or the DJ. Did she say it wasn't an appropriate job for women?

Would it have been an issue to debate if a Male DJ said no dancers? Or would he be congratulated? Who knows.
 
Defected have male dancers as well as female. I think a few of their female ranks posted they agreed they could keep female dancers so long as the playing field was levelled.

There is no problem unless freedom of choice to dance or not to dance or to like or not to like is on the table. It's just not an essential ingredient for me, personally. I hardly notice it to be honest.

The angle is she doesnt want to be associated with them as some perceive it to be sexist and exploitative these days.
 
Swedish House Mafia looks rammed from the Instagram clips. Not everyones cup of hierbas of course, but always good for the island to have one-off much anticipated gigs and exclusives.
