Drugswise clubbing and drugs will always be intertwined but I coudnt care less what people are on so long as everyone is having a good time. Like for real and not for Instagram with a perfect photo that you spent half the night trying to take. Bring back the days of a disposable camera from boots with 25 photos on it
 
But actually.... while I was kind of joking, maybe this IS why these nights are suffering. Using Monday as an example..... yeah OK Circo is running later etc... but maybe people can’t do 5pm in DC10 to 7am in Coccon/Amnesia because they are just on beer these days? Is THIS the real generational shift that is changing nightclub habits?

It looks that way doesn't it - May 12th its become now. As @mr_why said it usually takes them a few attempts, they are awful for moving dates around with little consideration for the punters.

Another venue would have the same 'restrictive' closing time of 7 AM tho so it would have the same problem in that sense. The longest I've been at Cocoon was in 2015 until 7:30 AM btw.

It's no secret Amnesia is mine and others fav. club and I hope they carry the flame. I honestly based my trip around the last two Mondays this year in July cuz that's when Solomun and Sven play and Troxler, Ricardo, and Richards usually based on last two years
 
Opening taking place along 3 weeks that s a revolution ,sooner whole month? :D
After Closing part 1 part 2 or pre Opening... What will be the next marketing strategy? :lol:
No regrets discarding Opening this year :p.
I hope they won t stretch until Sat oct 19th for their Closing :lol: as I can t afford 4 weeks for Closing o_O ,body won t follow too :spank:
 
Cocoon should be the first to mske the move regarding no cameras. It would something different to the night making it more unique compared to the other "techno nights"
Obviously we don't want cocoon to chsnge their programming as then it would no longer be cocoon
Move to Wednesday, ban phones

I don't remember cameras ever being a problem at Cocoon? It feels like it is more generally an EDM thing - I like taking pictures at raves - never film anything - whats the point of that - sound is usually awful.
 
In earlier days ( remember El Divino ) cameras were prohibited. The Security lokked for it. It was possible , that you had to go out ...
 
i can't forget el divino i was offered drinks & cigar by TLC manager at their vip table that was outside but decline (we got vip table but inside, at that time u pay a bottle kind 50€ at that time in pesetas , u got 4 free entrance so it worth

Cocoon had serious challengers with Resistance Privilege beein there 3 times : i love it, been 2 times to cocoon ,I hate it :D
Add Afterlife too....
