Carl Cox worth more in small places such as Sands ibz , Private party, Boat party, even Benimussa Park & at last big club as it's really Rammy :mad: when he played..

it will be nice to see him Blue Marlin Ibiza? :D

it just says to me no imagination, no ambition, clinging on to the past

where are the new names? the fresh music to actually get excited about?

there's plenty of new names but established names sell tickets
new names have to get on the bill with these DJs and hope to rise up to being the headliner

privilege doesn't sell the main room on B.Traits, ANNA or Alan Fitzpatrick...for now

They just got ditched from Tuesdays at Pacha cos nobody went :(

A lot of us have had a dig at Hï and what they represent - and rightfully so - but (assuming things stay as last year) their Black Coffee line-ups are amongst the most upfront at any of the other superclubs
 
PDB is a no-no though. I don't know anyone who stays or goes there anymore. I genuinely don't. It's never even on our radar. HI could put on sensational nights but lots of folk won't touch it because of where it is.

I'd still stay in PDB. Really, PDB, Figueretas and Ibiza Town are all one to me and just depends on price. It's all walkable. Sankeys is okay and there are other things PDB is handy for.
 
I've always preferred San Antonio - purely for the reason that it has better bars, places to eat and beaches all nearby. I've only ever stayed in PDB purely for the fact that it was the closest spot for getting to clubs. Besides that for me it literally offers nothing.

PDB has certainly seen better days and I am no fan of Hï, but if a fantastic new club opened in PDB, I would give it a go. If I excluded clubs because of where they were located, I would have given most of my favourite London clubs in the 90's a wide berth!
 
I wasn't trying to reignite the SA v PDB wars, just making the point that for people like me into the stuff I'm into, there's just no reason to go to PDB. Maybe in the early Space days it was a different story, but now?

location does matter a lot, especially when you have to factor in other things too, and I'd prefer to be well away from shitty tourists
 
We stayed at PDB last Jully (Playasol Bossa Flow, nice hotel BTW) and I must admit that we found it alot more quiet than expected. We did'nt go to Hï, but except at Ushuaïa (jam packed) all the places were little busy, if not almost empty (Bora Bora, Dunes, even the beach...).

Won't be staying at PDB this summer (Figueretas), but will certainly spend 1 night or 2 out there. Will see if it gets worst or better!

As a matter of interest, what are you into? If you don’t want to be around other tourists, none of the resorts will be for you. Hard to avoid them all holiday though!

I maybe in the minority on here but pdb makes for a decent location, especially top end near figuretas. That said, it is hugely popular if not on here! Terrific, quiet hotels at the torre deal mar and sirenis. Migjorn further down is terrific. It’s also very easy to get over to Ibiza town. Hi has three none commercial nights, Ushuaia has one and there’s loads of none commercial events at Sankeys. Amnesia and privilege are about 10e away by taxi and there are some good pre and post club parties in the area. There is plenty of decent food outlets and a few good bars around the area. It’s not a very scenic area (understatement) but better scenary and beaches are accessible really easily outside the resort so we hire a car or use taxis for that. I’d take pdb over San Antonio anytime.
 
Hi Stivi. You may or may not have missed my reply. Any other potential nights on at privelidge 5th 6th July this year?
