I think over time it will be an acceptance of what to expect from the club and as they fine tune their product to the market. Black Coffee had some stand out support in Room 2 last year, including a few Keinemusik showcase's. Their sound was really one of the main influences to the scene last year, but how much did anyone talk about it?

Room 2 could be a good fit for Maceo, his night at Pacha was one of the most production heavy I have seen there with his light show, so it could work. I also think Diynamic would be well suited to another night on the island (not necessarily Hi), to allow some of their acts the opportunity to flourish and break through. Maybe Solomun doesn't want any competition, but their artists don't really get a look at Pacha, and a single date at DC10 feels like a short sell.
 
@stivi are rumours suggesting that both Hyte and Mosaic will stay on the island in some form (moving venue or some takeovers at other events) are or they going to disappear in their entirety from the island?
 
also if hyte is disappearing it will be interesting to see whether loco dice and chris liebing are welcomed back into the cocoon fold. I'm not the biggest fan of both but they draw some crowd

My thinking EXACTLY. Not a fan of either, particularly Dice. But that was the reason I asked as Cocoon seem to love bringing back the old residents after taking some time away.

I maybe in the minority on here but pdb makes for a decent location, especially top end near figuretas. That said, it is hugely popular if not on here! Terrific, quiet hotels at the torre deal mar and sirenis. Migjorn further down is terrific. It’s also very easy to get over to Ibiza town. Hi has three none commercial nights, Ushuaia has one and there’s loads of none commercial events at Sankeys. Amnesia and privilege are about 10e away by taxi and there are some good pre and post club parties in the area. There is plenty of decent food outlets and a few good bars around the area. It’s not a very scenic area (understatement) but better scenary and beaches are accessible really easily outside the resort so we hire a car or use taxis for that. I’d take pdb over San Antonio anytime.

Can we assume that all the "biggies" are still taking place on the same day- looking at a weekend in June and want to do Music On and Cocoon??? These parties days are so established.

MusicOn has been confirmed... Cocoon I can't imagine for one second would ever move from the Monday.

Not that this would ever happen but would I'd like to see people opinion on this and whether they would still refuse to go to HI

I know you have had some good tips for us so far... but I honestly cannot see that happening in any way shape or form. It's their 19th season at Amnesia where are they gonna go? They wouldn't fill Privilege, Sven would hate Hi and Pacha as its too VIP and DC10 is too small. There isn't really another option!
 
Ultra weird, seeing as we've practically been told that Hyte is as good as gone from Amnesia
 
I predict Amnesia, Priv, Pacha and HI (or whatever brands take over) will all go 100% commercial within the next 5 years.

DC10 is the last stand for the dying embers of the Ibiza underground with Heart picking off the older wealthier crowd and the daytime events pulling in the cooler kids.

I guess it depends on what's 'commercial' to you, but techno and the more 'underground' house styles won't disappear from ibiza and its various clubs, no way.
 
I can't believe were asking you to confirm on the above, but surely there is no way Cocoon is moving day or venue is there!? @stivi
