Perhaps not historically, but with strong competition from the likes of DC10 putting headliners on later, things need to change and be adapted to the market. It’s just a hunch, nothing more. However Sven and Adam seem pretty close, Beyer played a fair few nights at cocoon last year, he also played cocoon in the park last summer. Who knows? Time will tell

Well one thing they shouldn't do is start adding more DJs to the lineup like dc10. One of the things that makes cocoon special is the long set times

yeah I can't see that changing a lot. while they have had other promoters doing room takeovers in the past (luciano's origins and richie hatwin's m-nus), massively shortening sets would be completely against their ideology.

Sankeys for me just isn't what Ibiza is about! When I come to Ibiza I want to visit clubs that cannot be replicated at home - Amnesia, DC10, Space, Pacha and Ushuaia (on the right night) all do that for me. Sankeys, on the other hand, could be a dingey basement club in any country.
I have only been once.... but once was enough to convince me never to return!

understand your point. I'm sort of the same opinion, but I have to admit I've had a few great nights in there, mostly towards the end of the season or in winter when they used to open (two years ago I think). if the crowd is a little more mixed (i.e. not JUST british) it can be really cool.

The only good point of Sankeys is that they give chance to green grass Djs, in comparison to big clubs that only book Big names
I got many parisian djs having session there, and ibz local scene too, i have decent nights there , people are there for the music for sure.
Anyone reminds the time when it was Kiss club , went there one time for a foam party ...
