Did music on numbers take a hit from El row taking the Saturday slot??

Never been a huge fan of music on but like most people have said already he is apparently moving every year yet Come the new Season Music on stays. I can't see Carola at Hi at all priv maybe but I think he will stay put.

If Amnesia were to loose a tech\techno night would Hyte to vista be a good move? they don't do bad but don't fill out Amnesia like the other nights so vistas smaller more intimate set up might be better.

As for paradise I don't think That will be going anywhere Jamie Jones has been in tight with DC-10 for so long think he will stay put for the foreseeable future.
 
I think the big question that has to be answered is will Pacha and Solomun part company? He will (I assume) as he has for the last 5 years, have an offer from pretty much every club. Once he decides, then the rest may fall into place. He has (had) a massive fee at Pacha, so I just can't see another club being able to make a night like that work - i.e. tiny free guest list, most paying 70€ + a pretty much full VIP - but I am just using my basic knowledge here - so no idea how the others will model it to make it work. But then, does he even want a 21 week season? That is the main issue with Pacha - you have to be prepared to pretty much do an almost 5 month season. Maybe he has to be slightly careful he doesn't do a Luciano post Pacha. I think they are in completely different places than Luciano was in 2012 after his last season in Pacha - but still, food for thought.
 
I was just about to edit my post when I read this. Yes, 100% it is not just HIS decision. It is just as much their (Pacha's) decision too

Maybe a couple Drumcode take overs in the main room for Cocoon could work well? Not sure Cocoon would want to but a Drumcode/Cocoon night all in one could be a match made in heaven! Especially if Cocoons numbers are dropping slightly which it sounds like they are.

the same was done with luciano back in 2014 if i remember correctly

but which clubs atmosphere fits his music & party style the best?

amnesia i dont think so and its already filled up

hi - never been there cant decide and it might be too big for him

privilege - not sure

i see that pacha fits him perfectly
 
i think it has but again some nights which are supposed to be playing techno are not tech nights in the means of sounds.

and solomun is one of them, beside hot since 82 night. this is just a small example.

proper tech nights i can think of cocoon, carola, hyte, afterlife, resistance

For me, there are 4 "rooms/areas" on Ibiza where Solomun fits like a glove: Pacha, DC10 Terrace, Destino & Vista

I really don’t think Carola is going to go from amnesia terrace to the back room of privilege with a capacity of less than around 1500 All the biggest resistance djs played the main room. It’s still what the big djs talk about. Vista is for small crowds and the more underground music scene and extended sessions when the main room empties. Whether Carola has the long term pulling power to attract 8k into the main room on a regular basis is another matter. I’ve not seen him in a long time but it’s interesting to read some think his star is on the decline.

Tend to agree although I’m not sure I’d wholly include resistance in that list. I regard that as a cross genre night.

However, my knowledge on Privilege as a club isn't great. What is the capacity split across the rooms?

The full club can hold up to 12 000 people , that why many promoters are scary about it , and we can understand why , it's masive !
 
I think if Pacha opens up the main room a bit, like it sounds like what's happening, then Solomun should stay. I can't really picture him elsewhere.
