good to hear, it's gigs like that one that may make them rethink their venue-choice in ibiza. specially if their crowd at hi this week isn't that good

One thing new I noticed this year is bouncers crossing the dancefloor frequently (I think) to make sure no women is getting sexualy harras... I noticed it at Hï, Pacha and Privilege (but not at Amnesia...).
Yesterday, at Resistance, it was so obvious that a bouncer came to my GF (who is 10 years younger then me) to make sure my dancing ways were not unwanted... She ad to kiss me to make him understand everything was alright...

The same in july... in front of pacha at solomun the police even stopped taxis. Our Taxi driver said "crazy".

My thoughts about ibiza town since they reformed all the port area, Vara del Rey, etc...
I hate it, they killed the vibe, well helped I have to say about the new profil of customers you meet there.
When I discovered ibiza 25 years ago, when we got off the ferry at the same place where today these horrible mega-yachts are moored, we plunged into a cosmopolitan, living, bohemian world (the real bohemian, not the one we are trying to sell you for a long time now).
Now the port is a soulless area where tourists come to be mowed while admiring the money of others.
If ibiza was for me an indomitable gypsy with whom we dreamed to spend the night, today she looks like an old whore full of botox.

I noticed that they didn’t have any shading whatsoever along the port (at least when i was there)...used to like just chilling and watching the world go by there but would be somewhat hot in peak summer

I think we will spend a couple of nights there at bars and eating but under no real illusions - I wonder if that eccentric couple who ran the Vara de Rey Rooms are still there? (and if that creaking indoor suitcase pulley still works!)
