:arrow: these are the results in the ibiza category of the 10th edition of the deejaymags awards (dedicated exclusively to the spanish scene), which took place on february 6th in madrid:

· spanish resident dj in a club - cesar del rio (privilege)
· spanish resident dj in a party - iordee and j.louis (matinee, space)
· best party by a spanish promoter - cassagrande so fresh (space)
· special award for its 40 years - delta discos
· special award for best dance radio station - ibiza global radio
· special award for consolidated brand - cafe del mar music

:arrow: bliss in plaza del parque closed for good after christmas :!:

as you might remember, last winter the same people opened a new bar nearby called pastis..... probably they already knew the matutes family (owners of teatro pereyra and the surrounding locals) wouldnt re-new them the contract as they want to refurbish the whole building. if you ever had the chance to enter in the theater you will know that bliss is on the back of the scenario, so i suppose they need it before the other locals to access inside and start working.....

ministry of sound and hed kandi are some of the rumoured possibilities for fridays at space.....

apparently the indie thing is not going to happen now as its possible there will be more tidy stuff in the back room :!::!:

expect to find tidy boys, ed real, anne savage, etc playing alongside dave pearce in the main room.....

:arrow: dusted are not coming back..... too expensive and eden killed it last year by giving out free tickets every night for it. they dont even host parties in london anymore so its natural to see that they wont be hosting one here either :!:

as you might remember, koolwaters moves from fridays to mondays and take their spot.....

(in connection with that, sam o'riordan -brother of judge jules and co-founder of dusted and serious- retired not long ago. apparently things started to come apart when sacha, who did a lot of the work for him, quit to set up the agency ideal djs at the end of 2006)

apparently pacha is no longer interested in the provisional casino..... which is rumoured to turn into a supermarket :!::!:

it was actually a lease for 40 years.....
