Illegal Parties

Police in San Jose had to break up three illegal parties last weekend, attended in total by around 600 people. The biggest occurred on Saturday when neighbours complained about a group of around 400 people that had gathered in Cala Jondal. It appears that the "fiesta" had been announced on several local radio stations, accounting for the large number of people. The complaints continued throughout the night, until police finally broke up the party.

the hotel el corso in marina botafoch has been bought by the hotelier fernando ferré (same with nautilus in the bay). as you might remember, it includes lucifer underneath (last summer turned into babylon)..... does the change of ownership have something to do with just scandal looking for a new venue? how this change will affect the future of the afterhours-turned-into-gay-club

apparently what's up? is looking for a venue for next summer

according to the latest rumours (and after their talks with certain crazy afterhours and certain big club in san rafael), what's up? is in talks with cova santa to do sunday mornings

on a curious note, this summer the restaurant owned by amnesia will not only have flamenco shows but also djs (already confirmed various dates with ernesto altes and friends).....

Why did What's Up and Space part company? Were they not pulling the crowds last summer?

what the what's up? people told me is that they have been asking for ages to do night time instead of daytime and that was the reason why they left space. a bit surprising to hear they are now considering doing daytime parties at cova santa but thats what i have been told.....
