Getting to/from Ibiza latest info

Now my quick trip back has a spanner in the works as jet2 are now taking me to Edinburgh via Belfast….oh they are giving me a free drink on board (6 I’d probably be happy)…but I’ll be over 3 hours late in arriving so will get the 250 quid compo

I went from Brum to East Midlands and sat for an hour and a half on the tarmac 😐 yay for my free drink? Would have done it for £250 happily enough 😁

Thanks for that mate! I might take a few spares from the lateral flows a have from work to be safe

Is that only issued after you scan the barcode on the pack to activate your test or is it something which comes inside the packaging ?

So would i be right in saying you dont have to take the day 2 pcr tests i ordered on holiday in my bag ,i just need the codes to type in the passanger locator for to get back to uk.
Sorry im a roofer not an university student.😣🤷🏼‍♂️

Joking aside, I found the testing and administartion around it quite onerous first time out. Old folks, like my parents, would have no chance of managing it without help.

correct, just the codes to put on your form, then take the test when you get home within two days of arrival.

They send you code by email once you've paid for it online
 
Just bought return to UK tests so getting real now. Managed to get 2 for £35 from https://testing.excaliburhealth.co.uk/ which was one of the Jet2 recommended ones so less than anticipated. May get the Day 2 tests there too as they do a pickup service as no Randox drop off point in a reasonable distance from us

There was a bloke trying to get his test to fly done when we were there. Off his nut, couldn't see his phone, the staff were really nice and put it all in for him. Would love to have seen what came out if his nose on to that swab

I was saying exactly that, I proper struggled (and messed it up). I'd have no chance after 5 days on it

So my sister used this C19 test returning from Madeira yesterday. Just had to email a photo of passport and the negative test plastic thing to the company and had certificate back in a few hours. No 3rd party interaction abroad required and £29. They also managed to deliver it to her on a Saturday before flying out after ordering on Friday afternoon (DPD next day). You have to scan a QR code on the box to get usage instructions if it's your first time doing it but I did think to myself what would stop someone doing it before they even left the UK, then sending the photo etc within the 48 hours before. It's all a bit of a joke !!

Good idea, better than the risk being stranded in ibiza if the test is either inconclusive or simply doesnt work properly. I wonder if they check the date stamp information on the photo you send them (you can do this simply by checking the properties on any photo which normally shows the date taken, unless you reset the dates on your phone/camera to coincide)
