Yes it's has changed to 72 hoursHas something changed? I was sure it said non-vaccinated had to have a test 48 hours before arrival...but now it says 72?

Still no sign of the missus' result.......17 hours until take off.....
Does anyone know exactly how the 14 days for "fully vaccinated" status is counted?
For example, if I received a second dose on the 1st August, would Spain accept me as fully vaccinated on the 15th August?

Just in - negative!Should be all good. The lab is rolling 24/7 so results seem to drop in at all hours. We got ours at 9pm. Friends of ours at 5am. Hopefully you get them by tonight so you can all get a good nights kip.
Thankfully I’m only there a couple of days and I’m doing my return test on the second day.. I’d be very unlucky to contract covid and test positive in 24 hours of landingWe fly on Tuesday next week and we're banking on Ibiza not being relegated to red outside of the review window too. Presumably if UK govt do decide to turn them red, we'd get a few days notice in order to get home.
Our bigger concern is testing positive whilst there and having to do the hotel quarantine. I think we could probably hack it but not sure what would happen with our dogs back home - they're booked in with our dog sitter but not sure if she'd have space to keep them for another 10 days.
Better start looking for contingency plans!
My mate doesn't get his 2nd dose till mid August, so we was tentatively thinking September (along with everyone else). We concerned we'll be priced out or it will be red though.

Guess this is going to be par for the course if countries let lots of unvaccinated people in this year

yes, I am deleting stuff that is off-topic.
and I will start banning people who disregard these rules.
I looked up flights to Gibraltar; yes they are cheap for September but the risk is just too great, cases have grown there just like Ibiza albeit with no deaths for months. So - take the risk with a cheap flight and take the hit if I can't go?
I suppose if people are cancelling Ibiza - or simply now won't book - the price of flights will go down making the risk more appealing?
If a return flight was a base £50 / e60 > how many here would take that risk where they wouldn't if the price was £100+?
Would they cancel though? Flights would still be on for those needing to travel, and the usual procedure is to simple allow a change of date.Ibiza / Spain / wherever you want to get to - if you are double jabbed (which you are, right?) there is no real risk to you , except country goes red and then the airlines will mass cancel and you get a refund anyway
They'd reduce capacity dramatically no point running to Ibiza/wherever 2-4 times a day if no-one is on the plane. I have already had a 4 hour change for a flight to France next month which triggered a refund. With Easyjet you can change up to 2 hours before departure fee free - so for 50euro low bet risk really. Or if you are really unsure book an Easyjet holiday (flight + hotel) as they won't travel to Red countries and will refund 7 days before departure, or if Amber will let you again move the booking or offer credit back.Would they cancel though?
