Mmm... Here they talk about Paradise Beach to become a 4 stars adults only, not the Greco...
Maybe the two are changing?
What I can see from my terrace is that some people are already working on the future paradise Beach...

So in the next 2 years we'll have two 4 stars only adults and the super luxury hotel owned by the "6 senses" group at vista bahia... What a change for my peaceful Portinatx :(

No offence but portinax has remained the same way for about 20 years. I took a trip up there last year with my wife and returned to hotels my parents took me as kids. El Greco and Presidente. Both were looking extremely tired.
 
I agree, but who says 4 and 5 stars says more rental cars in the resort, for example... Just one of the changes I don't want to see under my windows...

I don't know if it's been mentioned here but what's happening with the hotel Bahamas in PdB? Apparently that Linekar bloke was having a look around and when questioned on Twitter about his 'appearance' he said 'something big is coming'. I noticed on Thomson holidays that the Bahamas will become an adult hotel as of 2017...

Apologies in advance if I'm repeating something already mentioned!
 
I was going to book this hotel for late September/October.. Currently the price is decent for all inclusive - but I don't want to go there if it's going to become an Ocean Beach or Ushuiaia type place! So if anyone gets any news please can you quote my post? Thanks!
 
I asked about it last night and seems like people in PDB heard that rumour but that doesn't mean is actually happening! Could you put here the twitter link? I can't find it!
 
Sorry I don't use Twitter it was my daughter that told me someone tweeted WL and said something along the lines of 'saw you having a look around the hotel Bahamas, anything to tell us?' And he responded with 'something big!' It was late August maybe early September she told me...I didn't really think anything until this week when I saw on Thomson they had updated the hotel to adults only from 2017 with no other information and prices still as they would be... That's also what they did with the Fiesta hotel that's now Ushuiaia hmmmmm!
