Inter-bank exchange rate just tiipped over the 1.18 mark this morning. Long may it continue!

Up to 1.19+ today, the pound is on its way back

The actual exchange rate is currently 1.191.

The likes of halifax clarity and visa cards will see something very very close to that if used today.

In the shops, best you'll get is around 1.16 as they have to make a profit

Market data released today shows that manufacturing is actually increasing in the UK which signals our economy is better than they thought, so the traders value the pound more/stronger against other currencies. There's another reports out on Monday about the services industry, if that's positive, the rate should climb a litte more hopefully!

Hovering at 1.191 right now. If mondays report is positive, I suspect it'll bump it above 1.20

Rate seems to be dropping slightly, anyone reckon its time to buy or still hang on? Ive got 2 weeks till i go
