- Eden will be back next year -

Just seen the "Perfecto - Pete Tong" at Pacha on a Tuesday in 2002! Anyone ever make it to that back in the day?

usually, folks would go to Manumission and then after at Space till about 2pm so it was a pretty weak night...if i recall

Manumission, Space for the Carry On and then a session at Bar M followed by the West End with mobs of wasted people who had done the same. Bliss.

The humiliation when after being at manumission carry on and dancing under the terrace when it was pissing with rain, then deciding to go to bora bora after when it sort of cleared up and straight back to space for carl cox...my feet was so swollen it was like elephantitas... could not walk...ended up siting most of that night under the DJ booth at the terrace (which makes me think things were not quite so busy then as i had a good 6 hours unable to walk in which is now a famous picture area)

Personally I dislike it. I don't think it's very inspiring. That colour scheme is fine for a dark, minimal techno club night. Hardly gets me psyched about the return of Eden though.

Be interesting to see what nights Eden will host, has Toolroom signed with Es Paradis or was that just a rumour doing the rounds?

I said it last summer, but i would love to see Morillo open shop there with Subliminal, maybe Creche have a second punt now the clubs under new ownership.

More affordable tickets and NORMAL drink prices, therefore breaking the trend could help get the numbers back in the club.

Imagine a superclub doing bottles of beer at 5 euro, be a nice change.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but no thanks. There are thousands of people who stay in San An that never go near the West End. Let them stay there.

i'm not being sarcastic! :)
Eden has to look at the other clubs and offer something different
Theres a lot of tech-house/techno nights on the island and a market for more commercial nights
can they afford to try something underground - come up against heavyweight night elsewhere and have another black hole season?

morillo would be a good shout as a middle ground between commercial & underground

I agree with everything about this statement. I went to Creche last summer on July 1 only because it was free and a few girls I knew were heading that way and the turnout was just sad. Not sure what night would be best for them to return but the music was solid for what I stayed of the party.

I think what Eden needs is a strong NAME not brand, loads of good parties out there with good music but no real top names (Sankeys have a few). I don't think this would cater to the masses around San Antonio.

A strong EDM night and UK Underground night would work well, but i don't really know who would be available.

Duke Dumont would work (But he still has ties with Sankeys?).

EDM wise, Steve Angello with Size Matters maybe after Departures on a Wednesday? Although if that ever happened i could only see Angello playing once monthly himself.

What they need to do is concentrate on 2 big events a week and not even open the other nights. They have ruined their reputation over the years with the poorly attended nights with free wristband entry, to the extent that many regulars in San Antonio won't give them another chance. They should get some known names (Duke Dumont is a good shout) put them on when Es Paradis is having a weak night (I.e. Not Water Party or Hed Kandi) and spend the year rebuilding the reputation, more nights can come in future years when the clubs got some credibility back.

I dont have a clue what or who Faux Basement (is that the full name?) is? Can anyone elbaorate. Is this good news?
