Something in them: not much of a come up, few eye wiggles, jaw - big smile in face. Felt OK the next day. Weak compared to the normal Dutch stuff, still would like to see a proper test result.

A young friend who came with us to WHP only last 20minutes, like lots of young uns he likes to push it too far. Had mushrooms, ket and coke (not sure what the end goal was) and was hit with massive paranoia attack. Obviously someone went home with him which was another £70 wasted on a taxi. Thankfully felt better after a sleep.

Why oh why do they do it? Can’t be any fun getting that way out!
I was young once but the end game wasn’t much different to what it is now! The emergence of Ket hasn’t helped imo!
Seen some real states on that stuff in the rave that you just didn’t used to see.

Each to their own I guess but been totally out of control doesn’t do it for me!
 
I want to be bouncing, not holding onto to strangers or being carried through the crowd by friends or security.

Felt sorry for some of the older crowd (50/60 Yr olds) at Hacienda as kids were leaning onto them for support as their worlds were spinning out from around them. Could see them trying to be friendly/helpful, being met with blank faces and little help from the groups they were with.

He without sin cast the first stone and all that but..

Just reading a story about a lad dying at a House party here in Hull and seems he had taken methadone, codeine, cocaine and MDMA. This is where better Drug education is needed, can't see why anyone would think that is a good combo all in one night.

Even if the govt was sincere and serious, there are so many issues with this. For starters, not every dealer uses a burner. Many dealers are your mates. Your mates will have non party people on there. Their plumber, their kid's teacher, their mum. Are the cops seriously going to message each and every one of these people?

Secondly the idea that "middle class" consumers drive crime is also a myth, not backed up by any stats. The lawyer, the roofer, the football hoolie at Wembley. They ALL use cocaine. Just swab the toilets at major party political conferences... the problematic crack side is completely unrelated to the party side, but they conflate the two.

What's so jarring is the insult to our intelligence. They play us for fools and we acquiesce.

There's no intelligent conversation about cocaine because it's taboo. It suits the government to keep it taboo because it shores up their core vote. It suits dealers to keep it taboo because it enhances profits. It suits the cops to keep it taboo because police budgets depend on it. it suits the press to keep it taboo because crime sells.
