Drugs

Tourist is spot on here. drugs are the go to currency and enabler for gangsters, pimps, people traffickers, and other unpleasant people. all the tories are doing here is forcing the issues further underground, making drugs more valuable to these people, thus making them more powerful over the weakest in society

Not sure about this, don’t think that just cuz you’re middle class and sniff Coke you’re not contributing to violent crime. Cocaine is imported in bulk and then some of it is syphoned off at distributor level to make crack, it all follows back to the same gangs and associated violence through the supply chain. Crack and coke both look exactly the same in a piss test.

Not trying to get sanctimonious about it or whatever as I’m far from a saint, but I think we as a community of clubbers should recognise that all drug use links back to crime and violence to some degree regardless of how different we might think we are to other demographics of drug users
 
I took a few bits and bobs on Friday night but didn't feel great at all.
Drank water all night but was disappointing as I was really looking forward to a wee rave.

I took half a 2cb (small very hard pink pill with no pressings). No noticeable effect other than over heating.

Had about 1/3 of an E, blue ones but don't know what type, had a small effect but only lasted about an hour.
Had some shit coke.

All in I just felt terrible, over heating and no buzz.

Glad I stuck to water.

Mate gave me a bag of edible jelly’s the weekend. Bit like wine gums. First time I had done them really. Literally going down like sweets until number 6/7

Then hit me like a ton of bricks. Must admit I was stoned as a carrot for Hours. I don’t smoke weed anymore and haven’t for years so these were great fun. Still got loads left in the bag

There are reports around here of tainted/shady pills with fentanyl in them (peeps taken to hospital etc). Not saying that happened in this case, but if are partaking, start with small amount/checkup on testing sites etc.

Friend has a friend who is a drugs worker and said a lot of stuff seems to be tainted recently. No idea why, can't find anything official though except for coke being cut with it.

So maybe wires crossed regarding actual pills and was coke that resulted in few young people collapsing and been taken to hospital from music event a few weeks ago.
