Who are half these people? There also looks like loads of people who havent DJ done anything significant in years.....

And to top it all David Guetta at number 3? The world has gone mad.

As usual, I scrolled through out of mild curiosity to see if any deep house DJs might have scraped in no.147 (fat chance) but ultimately am not, in truth, overly concerned about who came where. The only conclusion I can draw from these lists is that I am over the hill, a has-been without a cause, an inconsequential fart with tastes shared only by a few balding, bespectacled geeks on the fringes of hoxton and berlin, an utter irrelevance amongst the army of hipsters and hucksters now calling the shots on the nation's cooler dancefloors. It's all over. The game's up. Time to retire to the pub or the back to '91 annual reunion circuit.

Is Alex M.O.R.P.H the fat sweaty spangled DJ who flashed his moobs alongside some God awful coldplay remix before attempting to electricute himself? Featured in an old post can't remember which one

I'd like to know how they come up with the fact that for instance Wally Lopez is number 62 and Fatboy Slim is number 94 etc.... where do they get the figures from? Not that I or anyone care considering the judges are clearly having a bit of a laugh, I mean I can't see Paul Woolford's name even on there

Kate Lawler man, where is kate lawler?

AND NIGEL BENN?!?!?!??!?!?! what happened? it was all going so well

Do I need to go to Specsavers or is Luciano missing from the above list??

:lol::lol:
Can I join the irrelevant party please ? Though I am not balding yet...

Went to the party at Ministry on wednesday. Was decent fun for a school night.

Guetta made a speech about dance music being stronger than ever.. ironic coming from someone who most people think is killing it

Tiesto seems to have lots of haters, he got severely booed when his name came up. I guess that was expected as the place was full of Armin fans.

Ingrosso turned up to pick up an award, think it was for highest mover.

The presenter was someone closely linked with Hacienda.. might've been Peter Cook? not sure.. anyway, he was one of the highlights of the night. With a constant slight sarcastic tone through out the awards ceremony. Made a few good gags in reference to Sasha and others.

In terms of music enjoyed Ingrosso and Above & Beyond mainly

I'm guessing you mean Peter Hook, ex-New Order, Mancunian legend (not as a DJ though) what any of THIS has to do with HIM is anybody's guess!

Hes promoting a new book hes written about the Hacienda, so Hook is on the circuit again.

Apparently his occasional DJing is quite atrocious.

Legend as a bass player though. Using the bass (with ever-present chorus pedal) as a melodic instrument was revolutionary :!:

I watched him play a set (note I didnt dance!) a good few years back - he stuck cd's on - :spank: and looked miserable.

He always looks miserable.....but back then in his Joy Division days it was fashionable to look miserable and depressed. Thats probably why Curtis did himself in..........
