Back to The Netherlands...we're going full force into a test-society where you have to show a negative test (or a vaccine proof in the future) to gain entry into a church, zoo, soccer stadium or event. This is the beginning of a total medicalization of our society where fundamental rights are now dependent of your so-called "health."
Sick until you're proven healthy....
A good quote I found on this matter: A test-based society is NOT a relaxation of the measures, it's an aggravation.

Our politicians have totally lost it in their confirmation bias. Every positive sign is interpreted as a result of their measures, such as curfews, testing, vaccins. Every negative sign is interpreted as a result of people not complying to those measures.

This will only end when we say it ends.

Surely it's just about being able to take measures should hospitals get choked up or deaths start to rise again? Given that this is a new virus and we don't really know how vaccines/new variants are going to behave long term, it seems wise to keep those options on the table. Or are you saying there should never be any sort of lockdown ever again regardless? Believe me, the Tories are the last party to want to dampen down economic activity or to have to keep on handing out furlough payments..

A year later, he's still in total denial about what has just happened to the world. Incredible really.. and now claiming ALL DJs have done plague gigs, yet ANOTHER barefaced LIE

I'm confident the world, including our leaders, will come to realize we should NEVER have any sort of lockdown again.

Check the thread before you pull it out of context and dragging it to another thread just to be able to call me out.
But yeah pretty much all of our well known names we all follow have done LEGAL parties in Tulum, Miami etc...and should not be called out for it. They are doing their job, playing music for young people who have nothing to fear from this virus.

Also..it surprises me having to say this again, I have never denied the existence of this virus.

I never claimed explicitly ALL DJ's...but yeah MOST of our well known names we all follow have done LEGAL parties in Tulum, Miami etc...and should not be called out for it. They are doing their job, playing music for young people who have nothing to fear from this virus.

What you said in the other thread is actually highly relevant to this thread because it shows what utter contempt you have for human life. The spike in Mexico was in part caused by your equally arrogant plague rave pals.

Contempt for human life? Wow.

Locking people up indefinitely, taking away their human rights and stuffing them with fear every day for 1.5 year..now THAT is contempt for human life. I celebrate human life, encourage it....I understand and applaud the people want to be free and party when they can.

And maybe the DJs you're into don't care but the people im into really do, which is why there have been so many live streams and people crowdfunding and flogging collections to survive, whilst pleading for govt support

I will not get into this here, simply because it belongs in the other thread.

We all want to be free, we all want to party. Do you STILL not get this? I've given 30 years of my life to parties. You think i enjoy any of this?!
You STILL not see my points of view are not about me partying?
It's about our human rights to be free, be outside when we want to, meet up, have people over, grab a drink, go shopping and yeah enjoy life with a party now and then.

Sorry, but this is BS. Small outside parties at the tip of Mexico had nothing to do with the country’s spike. That’s ridiculous. Quintana Roo (state where Tulum and Cancun are in) have had lower levels of Covid compared to the rest of the country.

Most of those parties are legal. Have some people caught Covid at those parties? Probably. Have some people caught Covid at the restaurants, gyms, yoga, tours, etc? Probably. Is there any difference between the two? Nope.

Mexico wants to keep their economy open and DJs want to gig. Nothing wrong with that.

except one of the highest death rates in the world, and a significantly worse death rate vs cases in the world.

you shouldn’t be opening up for music events and tourism if you have third world health facilities.

It’s a poor country, they don’t really have an option. And their death rate is up their with many other countries who’ve had more strict lockdowns.

Who benefits ? Marco Carola doesn’t pay tax or into health care there, the promoters are probably cartel. Yet it’s the old lady who works in the supermarket or the old boy driving a taxi rate who catches covid and has a 10% chance of dying because of it 🤷🏽‍♂️ (10% based on 2M cases / 200k deaths)

you’ve summed it up - rich privileged DJs flying around the globe, playing in third world countries and it’s the poor locals that suffer afterwards

There’s a lot more to the economics of tourism than a DJ to a party. And you can ask the who benefits question, and make up the old lady story for anything related to tourism really. You either shut everything down or not.

Its the same as Ibz : Normally you have to open because of the economy. But it will cause deaths and long Covid Cases. Life has priority in our culture. Before economical reasons. That means : No party , no clubbing , no risk , until Covid is nearly over and the risk is tolerable.
Its sooooo easy
